I got into them not long after Unforgiving was realeased. I listened to most of the stuff they had out at the time. However, I thought Hydra was pretty average but I've been blown away since Resist. 😁

Thanks For This Video!!! As a former Military guy, I seen the effects of war, and the careless use of "Heros" with "Halos" get thrown into the fray. The Leaders who make these decisions often have no care for the lives of the ones who die or sacrifice. Thanks again Within Temptation for representing the chaos of war in this video and showing that it's all nations. And were all in this chaos together young and old. Much Love and gratitude. Hopefully someday our leaders will get caught by the mark of "Cain"

I saw them live several years ago in a little town called Mariestad in Sweden. Still don't know what the heck they were doing there! But her voice hasn't changed over the years. Except sometimes you only have a choice between fighting a war and dying. And nobody in his right mind would accuse people of not wanting to die. Blame the attackers. Not the ones who defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Some nations have the luxury of judging wars and claiming moral high ground. And some others can only desperately defend against the attackers and hope they can kill enough of them in time to save their families. When the rest of the world comes after my family - I will slaughter rest of the world. It's that simple. Because my main responsibility as a man is to stand between my family and the danger - and even take a bullet if need be.

Amazing song. Been a WT fan since I was a teenager and still am(15yr+ later) cause of amazing art like this. They have been one of the most influential bands in my musical taste and in my life. Their music heals the soul. To hell with wars!

Finally! Within Temptation returns to symphonic metal, where they always belonged. No duets with third rate pop singers. No infusion of rap or hip hop. Just the great, solid music Within Temptation was built on.

Within Temptation is timeless. Discovered this band back in 2009 during my college years and have never stopped listening since then. This band has created a soundtrack to pretty much every major event in my life, and I am truly greatful for their talent. Blessings to all you and thank you for such great music.

Same here. The first time heard Angels was when it was used with clips from Final Fantasy VI’s added FMV cutscenes. Sadly, I believe that video has been deleted as I cannot find it anymore, but it was my introduction to WT who changed my views on how metal and classical music can be blended so beautifully.

They have been my favorite band since 2005, and Sharon den Adel is the greatest female front woman in metal today and has been for a very long time. There is no one even close to them, they are like a fine red wine they just get better with age.
