I discovered this song over ten years ago when I was a melodramatic teen. Now that I'm in my late 20s, this second takes on a whole new level of meaning for me. I felt tears go down my face as I really watched and listened like it was the first tie all over again. I've been in relationships like this where you love the person with all your heart but there's so much abusive and toxic elements to it that you just wanna scream your head off.

It's not gothic, gothic Metal it's Type of Negative. Evanescence it's Alternative, Within Temptation and Nightwish it's Symphonic Metal. From Russia with love ❤

I have even more respect for this song, now that I've seen the video.

When W.T still has part of their mind realizing what music genre is suitable for them!

Saw this live last night and I had to cringe a bit when I anticipated the powerful choruses of this song. They'd just powered though their last album Unforgiving and it was clear that Sharon was starting to strain her voice. She didn't back down one bit, and gave it her all. What a performance. As soft and gentle her singing can be, some of WT is just so powerful vocally.

This is my favorite song by Within Temptation I think Keith Caputo should play in more of their songs.

Remember seeing this live in Glasgow and the PA cut out: no illusion of miming as the belts from the band kept coming for a few seconds before we knew what was wrong. 2nd favourite band to see live, amazing preformers.

first time checkin this band, amazingly beautiful! i LOVE the woman's voice and the symphony behind it! almost like classical music combined with metal haha. but i have one question: how far can u go to being melodic and altogether "soft" in metal to still be considered metal? i always get confused, metallica's "nothing else matters" (pretty sure u gusy know) is soft but it's still said to be metal for some reason... i just don't get it, anybody help?
