@@armandocardona4478 Within Temptation and for example Unleash the Archers sounds nothing alike to me.And no I am not a purist far from it.I listened Coal Chamber when it was branded "nu metal" by "cool" kids.I also listen to Amaranthe legit mix of pop and metal.I don't get your defensive mode about Within Temptation being hard rock like there is something wrong with that.

@@markolumovic2750 - I hear ya & I agree 100% with your assessment; what I meant to say is that, aside from the fact that each group or band has its own distinctive sound, I was merely pointing out that when you get down to it all pop/rock stems from a basic source or sources & what we call "hard rock" & "heavy metal" share some common roots & are basically variations on a theme. Yes, they're different, but when push comes to shove they're not all THAT different. My opinion, of course.

The way she smiles into the camera on those up close shots, though... If that doesn't make you melt, check your pulse.

Damn... they are really world class... and they sold over 3 Million records worldwide... I considered for a second to cover this with my own band... we have a good female singer but now it's out of the question I guess... these high notes... too difficult for an amateur singer. It's not the high notes alone... I think it would be manageable... but you have to have also that power behind it, and I am sure that's the real problem here to cover.

Her vocal range is completely off the charts! What a fantastic group! A perfect blend of synth and metal! Absolutely a beautiful song with amazing power and a beautiful performance!

One of hell song for track days or racing times.

I saw them live for the first time last week and having been a fan for some time, I was completely blown away. This was one of the first songs they did and I was so happy this was on the set list cause it's always been one of my favourites. Where did you see them? I was in Leeds last Saturday to see them and Evanescence, 2½ years after they were originally scheduled to play, and was absolutely blown away! I'd never particularly heard of Within Temptation until quite recently when my son introduced me to The Reckoning but I'm certainly a fan now, was already a massive fan of Evanescence. Both bands were tremendous and I was also very impressed with their support, Veridia. 😊

I've been a fan of Evanescence pretty much all my life lol since my parents listened to them with me when I was younger, I kinda grew up listening to them and still do to this day :) I discovered Within Temptation a few years ago and became a fan of them as soon as I started listening to them lol, so it was awesome seeing two of my favourite bands in one night. The Reckoning was the first song of theirs I put on for my dad, since he came to the show with me and he wasn't familiar with them, he's become a fan too! Veridia were great as well, they had such a good stage presence. I'd love to see all three bands again sometime :)

I saw them for the 1st time three days ago, have been a fan since my 15. They opened with Our Solemn Hour, the band started playing 1st then she walks in singing, absolutely stunning, She looked like the Wonderwoman. They played Raise your Flag for Ukraine. Absolutely fckin epic. I like them even more now, my wife was with me, i had been showing her musics of them from KZread, now she says she can't Stop listening to their songs 😂👌

I've heard of this band but I never thought that WT is such a great symphonic metal band

Just amazing. Sharon has the Voice of the Ages. I fall to my knees and bow my head before her, the Queen. Truly a legend song, the vocal, the guitar riffs, the drums, perfection!
