I absolutely love that Within Temptation have done so many covers of songs from a number of very different genres to their own, and just owned them. Not only does that take skill, but it's such a breath of fresh air, that a band doesn't just stick to one genre; they're not sitting inside that box we've put them in, and they're showing their love for other songs and artists.

I love adele's version for the emotional impact it gives, but this version is great too. This one has a much darker, revenge-like tone to it. For me it just demonstrates how perception and personal style can display two completely different emotions, molding the lyrics into two completely different songs. Love them both. =D

i think this is their best cover so far, and Sharon does a very good job in this one, i love the way she plays with her voice now and then, adding color and emotion to the song.

This is so, so powerful!!

Within Temptation took a very good song and made it great. Now it rocks!. Halestorm took a good song from Lady GaGa and made it great also ( Bad Romance). Within Temptation is the Dutch equivalent to Evanescence. Incredible vocals with a great band. Awesome.

Within Temptation and Evanescence are completely different. They're both amazing, but they're both different genres of metal. Though I agree, Halestorm made Bad Romance amazing.

Samantha Bryant Mathew O'Brien and Samantha Bryant. Within Temptation and Evanescence are completely different? Really? So " Bring me to life " and " What have you done " sound nothing alike? Really? You could put Amy in Within Temptation and put Sharon in Evanescence and neither band would miss a beat. Because they are both so talented.

OMG!!!!! Indeed I love Within Temptation!!!!!! Skyfall could let them sing this one... I don't deny Adele's talent, she's awesome, but Sharon printed the action of Skyfall in this song... Sharon Rules!!!

Hard to say, if I prefer this cover or the Original... let's say both Ladies are very very talented and did a great Job!

She sure has that majestic quality to her voice. Sharon would sound amazing on a Bond soundtrack.

This reminds me of some of the old opening theme songs from James Bond... I mean I know none of them were like this, specifically, but the upbeat tempo and driving action gives it that old-school feel for some of the other opening credit songs.
