I just recently heard Within Temptation for the first time, and I'm blown away. I've always been a metalhead, but more 80's heavy metal. Forgive me everyone if I'm late in getting to this point, but better late then never. This just may be one of the greatest bands of all time. If it's not already happened without my knowing, I'd love to see Within Temptation, Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, and Delain all in one show. Ive been around for a long time, but I don't think any other combination of four bands could compare to this line up.

As much as I still love this band, I have to admit I really miss the 'Mother Earth' era - there was just something truly magical about their sound at that time, with Sharons vocals, the symphonic sound and the more celtic/fantasy lyrics, and id forgotten how much i used to love Sharons fairytale-style gowns that she wore on stage at that time

I went from totally love them until Silent Force...then it went downhill, every album. Cant stand a minute of their music of today. Actually it went downhill ever since Enter.One of my fav albums of all time. What happened to that haunting, unique sound...?

@@morganolsson1993 Srsly? Silent Force, Heart of Everything, and Unforgiving are all masterpieces. I even like the newer album like Resist. I guess you are really attached to this specific style.

Sharon's voice is just unbelievable! The pitch and phrasing is beyond compare, and such a beautiful lady too, she has just everything IMO. Must get around to seeing them live asap 🤞🤞
I discovered Within Temptation some 20 years ago when I bought Mother Earth. This has been one of my favorite songs, and favorite bands of course, ever since. The song is so dynamic. Love to see it's still played live despite it's age.

I cannot believe the sheer replayability of the Mother Earth album. I listened to each song 100s of times since I was a kid, and I still love each one.
i'm still 14 years old. my dad introduce this band when i was 5. until now i can't stop listening to Within Temptation's music.

man, time flies. the Mother Earth Tour DVD came out when my age was still in the single digits! I grew up listening to Mother Earth during car rides with my dad (thank you dad for letting me grow up with this AMAZING band) and still have a lot of nostalgia for all of the songs on that album. definitely going to check out the rest of the Tour now!

I have just discovered this band. WOW WOW WOW. She is FANTASTIC. I absolutely adore Mother Earth - what a brilliant song. She makes every song wonderful I even when you think ' I'm not going to like this too much '. What a preformer and such stage presence. Already looking at seeing them. Love them 💕

Love how Robert is supporting Sharon before they go on stage and she is just sparkling... literally and in spirit! Oh and her crystal clear voice ✨✨✨🥰. Amazing performance, amazing image and brilliant song and meaning 🌠💗

This clip reminds me why WT is my favorite band. Full of emotions and energy.
I found WT back in 2001 when a friend leant me her WT CD and I was instantly inlove with Sharon on the Mother Earth CD. I have been hooked on this band ever since. Sharon is my vocal hero and remains as my inspiration for my band.
This is for me best WT song. I got goosebumps each time on begining of song.

I gave you a thumbs up, but seriously Sharon’s voice is just as good now. Within temptation probably haven’t been better than they are now and they were awesome many years ago. Love this band!

I feel so old remembering this. Robert was so slender, Ruud was so dramatic with that hair style and still had hair on his head XD. Sharon looks so young and inocent.

So 20 years ago I fell in love with WT! IMO WT is just like wine older is better :)
I just love this band. I’ve seen them live 2 times. Once in a small venue in Louisville Ky and in New York City. At the concert in NYC when they played the song Deceiver of Fools, it was superb live version. I just remember being in aww of that particular song. My son said the same thing.
I am so fortunate to have been able to witness this song live, about 15 years ago in their first show in Brasil 💝 what a time to be alive! I hope you guys bring this one at a live show someday again as a small treat for the fans!

Absolute perfection. Sharon's voice is just incomparable and hits me in places i did not even not know they existed. She literally saved my live and i love and respect her for that. The Music of Within Temptation elevates me, brings me joy and exitement, and makes me think about things i tend to take for granted. I feel honored to have seen them live three times in 2022 and hope to attend a concert again in 2023. Meanwhile i just sit and wait for the new album to come out of which i'm sure it will be a knock-out album. Much love for WT🤘

She’s always dressed gothic-angel; and her live show makeup has been consistent. Their band connection is intense, Every live I’ve been to has never been a disappointment
