@@All4mula I understand now. I wrote "we" as somebody who has been tormented at times I cannot do much to defend the children, young people, small business owners. I see children in masks and man it hurts, I want to defend people so bad. So yes I mean authorities and people who have played along with it, I probably didn't think much about the word I used at the time.

We used to kick it in the clubs to this in Madison in the early 90s. Good times.

That has to be the coolest tradition in college football. I'm glad the announcers shut up and just let us listen to it to the end.

This is beautiful. Humans in unity. This makes me smile. This is how sports suppose to be. About the game, not politics

Hell, how do you think all those college and professional sports stadium builds are funded? Tax-payer dollars with kickbacks to politicians.

Not a Wisconsin fan, but when I watched this live I got straight up chills. Watching Gus Johnson bobbin’ in the booth, sweetheart Jenny Taft jumping around, and the whole stadium and Wisconsin squad turning up, I had to bob my head on my couch. I was surprised by how much I felt this. Sounds silly I know, but just seeing that many people in unison was pretty cool to see. Plus, it’s an all-time song, so there’s that 🔥

I felt the same exact way when I saw it live. Like you, I am not a Wisconsin fan, but I have a fondness for college football tradition. I just now watched it again, and it brought tears to my eyes as this was probably one of the first full-capacity sporting events after COVID-19

Amen! The moment stayed with me so much that when I started watching the Michigan/Wisconsin game I felt compelled to look it up again. There's something about all of those kids in unison, and then they showed Jenny Taft jumping around on the sideline with a smile from ear to ear... it was just pure, unbridled joy. Like you were jogging in the park and saw an elderly couple walking hand in hand, and just had to stop for a moment to appreciate something so pure and beautiful? Wi tradition end 3rd qtr since Oct '98!!

Really cool, especially considering none of these kids were born in '92 when this tune came out. I was 10. For all us old people who were around then, our backs hurt way to much to be doing this now 😂

I was born in 1969, and I didn't hear a word you said. I had my hearing aids turned off. What was that again? Something about back pain? Lemme tell you, sonny, you don't KNOW back pain. But I can tell you this... all them kids on the screen are smokin' the wacky weed, that's for darned sure. Seriously, I was in my first year of teaching when this song dropped... my colleague, the head speech coach, HATED it. I was an asst coach. We were traveling to Eugene, OR for a tournament, and our bus broke down. One kid with a boom box was blasting this song for the 2 hours it took for the backup bus to arrive, and I thought my fellow educator was going to straight up murder that kid. It was the screeching every 4 beats that got to him so much. When he became our principal, I played it FULL BLAST in his office to "welcome" him to the job. It. Was. EPIC.

They are replacing parts of the stadium this winter.

I am not even a fan of Wisconsin football, but this has to be one of the coolest things in college football. I want to go to Badgers game just for the 3rd/4th quarter change.

Coming from this Buckeye fan and a fan of college football traditions what made this Jump Around so special and memorable, is that it was the first Jump Around with fans post Covid. Because the previous year no fans in the Big Ten was allowed to attend games.
