#TommyBoyRecords #HipHop #HouseofPain
Lyrics:
The house of pain is in effect ya'll
The house of pain is in effect
You know the house of pain is in effect
And anyone that steps up is gettin' wrecked
Pack it up, pack it in, let me begin
I came to win, battle me that's a sin
I won't ever slack up, punk you better back up
Try and play the role and yo the whole crew'll act up
Get up, stand up (c'mon!) c'mon throw your hands up
If you've got the feeling, jump across the ceiling
Muggs lifts a funk flow, someone's talking junk
Yo I bust him in the eye, and then I'll take the punk's hoe
Feelin, funkin, amps in the trunk and I got more rhymes
than there's cops at a Dunkin' Donuts shop
Sho' nuff, I got props
From the kids on the Hill plus my mom and my pops
I came to get down, I came to get down
So get out your seat and jump around!
Jump around! (3X)
Jump up, jump up and get down!
Jump! (17X)
I'll serve your ass like John McEnroe
If your girl steps up, I'm smacking the hoe
Word to your moms, I came to drop bombs
I got more rhymes than the Bible's got Psalms
And just like the Prodigal Son I've returned
Anyone stepping to me you'll get burned
Cause I got lyrics, but you ain't got none
If you come to battle bring a shotgun!
But if you do you're a fool, cause I duel, to the death
Trying to step to me, you'll take your last breath
I got the skills, come get your fill
Cause when I shoot the gift, I shoot to Kill
I came to get down, I came to get down
So get out your seat and jump around!
Jump around! (3X)
Jump up, jump up and get down!
Jump! (17X)
I'm the cream of the crop, I rise to the top
I never eat a pig, cause a pig is a cop
Or better yet a Terminator, like Arnold Schwarzenegger
Try to play me out like, as if my name was Sega
But I ain't going out like no punk bitch
Get used to one style and yo and I might switch
it up up and around, then buck buck you down
Put out your head and then you wake up in the Dawn of the Dead
I'm coming to get ya, I'm coming to get ya
Spitting out lyrics, homie I'll wet ya
I came to get down, I came to get down
So get out your seat and jump around!
Jump around! (3X)
Jump up, jump up and get down!
Jump! (33X)
Yo, this is dedicated.. to Joe..DeBerg..Dakota!
Grab your bozack, punk!

I am 60 years old and when my daughter was planning her wedding she asked me if I had any song requests for the reception and this was my first request. This definitely got the reception hopping... everyone was up Jumping Around ... so much fun.

I'm a bus driver. One evening I was sitting at a red light, and a guy in a 3 wheeler got up to the light with the song blasting and dancing away. Guy in the van beside him started dancing, I started dancing. This song can't help but put everyone who hears it in a great mood. Still the best moment of my nearly 14 year bus driving career.

You can never quite put your finger on why a song has 'it'. But you know it when you hear it, it stops you in your tracks and you just listen. This is absolutely one of those songs. The first time I heard it, I was thinking 'Yeah, this song isn't going away.'. And here we are, three decades later, and people go ape shit when the song comes on anywhere.

Lords of Brooklyn.

I was unalive for several years, but heard this song playing from the open window of a wedding limousine, which was passing by my urn, being moved outside to a waiting UHaul moving by truck. I reconstituted and danced like it was 1999! Yes I waz managing a roller rink in ca. During that time this definitely packed the floor I play it often with special effects lights here at home while smoking a fat one as I go down memory lane.
Will soon be turning 65 and this will be the song I wake up to on my birthday!
This track is so good that the entire world has sampled it and still sampling it but it has to be those bagpipes. Who knew. #FIGHTINGIRISH
The funniest thing was University of Madison playing this song during school football games! People jumping all over SO HARD on the bleachers, the whole place SHOOK, and it felt like we were all gonna fall through to the ground. Good times!
House of Pain and Cypress Hill were first 2 CDs that I ever bought ... I was on my 2 week leave after my Bootcamp graduation while I was in the Navy to this day it's still one of my favorites

You're an old Squid also huh? I remember this jam when I was reporting to my second command in San Diego. Good times. Good times. 👍😉🍺⚓️🇺🇲
House Of Pain are from Boston, Massachusetts!! I resided in Boston, Massachusetts from February 3rd to April 3rd 2015!!
I remember school and camp dances where they played this song, as well as “Jump” by Kriss Kross, and we all jumped every time they sang the word “Jump!”
One of the best nights ever.. remember when 🫠..
whether its 'mrs. doubtfire' or your team is winning a big game at home and the song is cranking through the stadium.. this song has legs. then now and forever.
Some stuff never will be forgotten ❤
2023, and I'm still bumping this track. If you know rap, you know Everlast.
Oldest song I remember. I have 3 older sisters and I'm 55 !!!! Luv life
