NGL I really went off this channel with the repetitive buy car - exhaust - wrap - repeat. BUT this Audi R8 content is really getting me back into it. Keep it up.

Been in the motor trade a long time and really love how these guys work on your car. Absolute quality and small details that clearly make them a step above others. Love the video! Hope it does more views!

On 99% of CarPlay installations this can be moved from left to right as its designed to allow for this for right and left hand drive vehicles!

it is a bit more complicated than that; the driver position needs to be marked so they can tune the audio to hit you correctly thre is timing issues to adjust for the fact that the speakers are all different distances to the listeners ears nd this really affests so they have tuning to adjust the audio to hit you perfectly

Prices do vary depending on spec/car & model choice but this particular solution was circa £1,500

I’ve noticed that apple car play actually uses a lot of battery when driving for a longer periods of time and my phone would get unusually hot.

Same here, even when plugged in, it would still drain the battery faster than it can charge.

All the modern CarPlay headunit solutions like this one are coming with USB C to keep the battery actually charging opposed to just discharging slower and I havent personally noticed phones getting unusually hot on these stereos.

@@johnkleiscaraudio I think it was an issue with the USB port being integrated into the dash of the car, rather than directly into a CarPlay unit. It was an Opel Corsa rental car for me.

We do agree... however it is not a UK model :( No DAB, restricted FM tuner for the UK market etc...

Damn what happened to this channel almost 900K followers the last video that hit over 50K views were 4 months ago the last time a video reached over 100k was 9 months ago , i think it's time to start a new

@@patteyh people don't understand that wraps and wheels and exhaust isn't mods anymore , people want to see bigger things happen to cars because look at how many car youtubers there are you have to compete against if i was him i would sell my KZread account and take a few months to myself to figure out what i want to do then make a new account and start fresh

I agree with @baginavoed . The reason I am here is exactly that : it’s a old school and it reminds me of a great era that I absolutely loved. If I want a more cinematic content, I watch Sam (STG), if I want the brand new stuff, I watch Shmee. If I want this, I watch Paul !

There is a massive trend of people updating the tech in older cars because companies like GM are removing Apple Car Play and Android auto, on top of new cars no proving a massive upgrade in features and performance dispite new cars being shockingly expensive. @LinusTechTips just did a very similar video

I disagree. Lots of people are attracted to these “older” cars so this is helpful info. No it’s not super entertaining so it will likely get fewer views but it’s fine
