this is truly beautiful. You don't even have to be able to understand what he's saying to understand what he means. you can just see it on his face and hear it in the music. After hearing this i don't think I have the right to call myself a musician

Still have my Wipers T-shirt and three Wipers cassettes with all their vinyl (1979-1986)... gift from Mike for recording his band SNAKEPIT in Eugene back in 1987!!!

i have to admit that i discovered the wipers thanks to nirvana, but im not ashamed of it. this band i s now one of my favorites. so depressing, dark, it's all in the feeling., in the sensation the music gives you. it's so beautiful that i often cry when listening them.

This was the sound that I was looking for as a kid in the 80’s. I didn’t discover this band till the late 90’s. Greg Sage is like a rock monk. He lives Rock n Roll daily.

Was at a Melvins show a few days ago - wearing a Wipers shirt. Kid couldn't have been more than 15 years old comes over and says I like your shirt. There's hope .....

Saw them in the eighties and early nineties in Bochum and Dortmund, when i was so young,They still touch my heart nowadays. Greg sage is a musicians with heart and soul, crossing the lines to Joy Division, my other favourite band in these days.

Crazy to think Greg was 10 times better live than in a studio. How is that even possible!? His playing is hypnotic, mesmerizing, therapeutic, and visceral. Look at him on stage with the build up, he’s displacing energy 10 fold his own onto the crowd.

Not just the song but the intro as well is incredible ... those beautiful ringing tones ... almost like bells ringing out

Once this live tune gets going, the beautiful melody is captivating. The studio version is equally amazing (as are most of their tunes. But, this one is a stand-out!).

I agree, the Wipers were one of a kind. I saw them live, and later, Greg Sage on his own. He was brilliant. I still listen to his music. Thanks for posting.
