Long time no see guys, I guess I got some explaining to do. There's been a long dry spell here for some time now, there are a few reasons for it. Around the time of my last upload (22.5.19), I just started the exam period for my degree. I’m now in my 3rd year of training as a student veterinary nurse (SVN). So I bunkered down on the revision during exam time and, even now, I’m committing a lot of time to the course. As of this moment, I’m on placement in veterinary practice, combining my theory with practical skills. Its hard work but so much fun as well. But as you can imagine, I don’t get a lot of free time now. Any time I get I now spend with family and my girlfriend. I also had a health scare recently. One day at work, during the last hour of my late shift (about 6pm GMT), I had a sudden pain on my right flank. Within minutes I was in agony, combined with a fever and weakness. I ended up in A&E being diagnosed with acute Pylonethritis (Kidney infection). For those of you not in the know, I’m male, and any case of a UTI in men is severe and always complicated. It put me out of action for 3 weeks; 2 in a hospital hooked to IV fluids and antibiotics and, a week at home recovering. Needless to say, video games and videos were my least concern. I’m fully recovered now though, but not the best way to spend the Christmas holidays or my birthday :
