Great run, Wipeout is my fav franchise that I suck at :D It's the full package baby, from the gameplay and mechanics, to the aesthetics of the levels and The Designer's Republic work, and last but not least the phenomenal music production and curation by Sasha and others. They don't make them like they used to, and it's a bit depressing knowing we probably won't be alive to see smth like this become reality.

Mainly managing the pitch of your ship, turbo and barrel rolls, tho using side shifting is also useful in some situations. The main way to go faster is to find a way to do more barrel rolls quickly.

What is the difference between the male and female voices saying the weapon?

For Feisar at least, the male voice says the weapon you pick up, and the female voice says the weapon that's coming from another ship

The female voice here is the HD Fury announcer. The teams all have unused "WARNING!" voicelines, so I don't know why they used HD Fury's announcer.

why do i feel that this isn't as fast as f zero or mariokart
