An overwhelming majority of people think Jari has been developing one of the most elaborate scams in the history of music by making false promises and preying on people's naivety, consequently stealing huge amounts of money from them. Just to be clear, I'm a huge fan of Wintersun and don't agree with this view - I'm just reporting what people generally say and think about this band.

This is a future classic! I was just enrolling in secondary school when Time I was in the works. Now i'm married, post university and lived to see Time II come to life! THIS IS GLORIOUS! It's obviously a product of love and hard work, Time III better come out before i retire though

Someone should build Jari a decent editing workstation. I guess he's used to working on a mac for protools etc, but you can get a lot more bang for your buck by building pc yourself and going with windows or linux. I built a video editing rig for the media guy at work, he was skeptical because he had only edited media on macs, but with a threadripper cpu and obscene amounts of fast ram, a quadro gpu and terabytes of m.2 nvme storage and a lot more in reasonably fast network attached storage, he's not going back to apple for editing suites ever again he says. The only reason at this point for an apple ecosystem is if you're locked into it, or you have endless financial resources to support it.

@@chondrinenigma You are right, but i find wintersuns compositions interesting and intricate, and at the compositional level of Mozart, but a better comparsion would be towards Wagner. They both have compositions in the same bombastic way. The orchestral isolated tracks are fucking amazing from a music theoretical and compositional point of view

Say what you want about the process, when it’s time to put out new music, I don’t believe anybody does it better. This sounds amazing.

The dragon song sounds anazing. Old school viking metal here! Also felt some early Ensiferum vibes

I was very reluctant to buy the Time package and was almost laughing at it BUT after watching this video, I think it's a no brainer to get it. Jari did something great in including all those pre Wintersun demos, it's a ton of material to discover on top of the second part of Time, it's an amazing gift for a true fan of the band. It took a ridiculous amount of time but I'm pretty sure now it will be worth the wait and the money. By the way, everything I heard on this video sounds fantastic! TIME to listen to the discography again!

Gods of metal. Instead of making tons of albums like many groups, you make a few perfect songs that we can hear infinitely without getting bored. It's close to the greatest classical music compositors. Thank you !

Jari, you helped me unknowingly during your time in Ensiferum. Years heck a decade of bullying and mistreatment was finally starting to heal and get a place. Then 2017 came and The Forest Seasons package already was a no-brainer to buy. That album again helped me during some struggles. Now once again you all created soothing music to heal.. Something we all waited a long time for and created many memes from... Are you a magical psychiatric? Keep up your epic work!!

Does Sons of Winter and Stars contain references to Time 2 songs in the very first lines? The awakening of darkened skies -> Storm The symphony of dying lights -> One with the Shadows ("old and dying sun...") The blazing fire came pouring down -> The Way of the Fire (obvious) And life and death became unbound (possibly something to do with Silver Leaves?)

I'm literally in tears, it's so beautiful! I absolutely love how well you integrated asian-like harmonies in melodies and especially your vocals, and those never-before-heard demos...!! And it's not even all yet?!! Jari, you've outdone yourself, this is beyond amazing!!

Jari.....this is incredible Like others have mentioned. The Way of the Fire without live recording distractions is just beautiful. You threw an actual curveball though. I don't think anybody speculated you'd be opening your musical heart to us by dropping 5 HOURS of music from the early days. I'm astounded. This would be like discovering unreleased music from the Hatebreeder days from Children of Bodom. I'm so absolutely pumped, and couldn't wait a second to commit to this project.

Jari was absolutely correct to withhold this album for so long until he got the right sound. Time I sounds pretty weak in comparison. I mean it sounded great 12 years ago, but the jump in quality is just massive. Can't wait to hear Time I being remastered (again) to match the quality of Time II.

I have been telling myself for more than a decade that this album is definitely gonna fail because its impossible to top Time I and the expectations we all have on Time II. At some point I even got on board with the trollers because I was pretty certain that this album was never gonna be released. But I have no word's after listening to this. This is even better than I could ever possibly imagine!!!! Amazing stuff. Unbelievable that you can live op to the hype!!

Oh my Jari!!!! The sample of Storm alone is worth the years of waiting. This is all we want, new Wintersun. All my cry baby winge-fest kicking and screaming for the last decade was not in vain! Thank you, Jari and co! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

Time 1 was released my freshman year of college, when I was just 18 years old. I will be 30 years old when the Time 2 album is released in August. I am so damn excited and I can tell it is all worth the wait. Wintersun will is on such a different level than any other band.

No kidding, I cried in the car on my way to work today while listening to this. I was 15 when I found Wintersun in 2005, now I'm 34. Wintersun is easily the most important band in my life, although it have been tough sometimes to wait for the new albums. Thanks a lot Jari for making this happen and congratulations on a job well done, thanks for hangning in there. Now I just have to stay alive until the last of august.

Jari is the greatest heavy metal songwriter on the planet. I don't care what anyone says.

IT'S FINALLY COMING!!! I've been jamming to the live versions of "The Way Of The Fire" since like 2015. I've not wanted to play guitar in recent years but this has completely revived my spirit. Thank you Jari and all of Wintersun!

Passed the 100% goal and rising. The scary thing is how close The Way of the Fire recorded version sounds to the various live recordings and amalgamations that have been on KZread for a while. Hope you'll pick the guitar up again live Jari, just offload a few vocal duties to the others or a backing track, if anyone's got an excuse to do that it's you!
