We had a Russian area manager here in UK she said she was cold because in Moscow everyone has the heating on it's cheaper to heat the house

No trendy places for the few, but a large housing estates from Soviet times, orginary blocks of flats with all bits and pieces of people's life, regular parks with beautiful snowy cushions, streets of St. Petersburg, underground and bazaars where one can buy almost whatever wishes. I hear you repeat you hate winter, but you don't sound and look convincing, as you look so convincing in this winter, of -14C. Hugs!

Very true, those without hats in that cold are nuts! Definitely a summer man here but experience similiar weather from my homestead.

I will always remember snowy, beautiful (but sometimes treacherous) winters for most of my life. But now, in the winter of my life, I am glad to be at a lower, warmer latitude w/virtually no white stuff. Beautiful video though, as usual!

Even thou my area is warmer than normal ; Iowa girls at times will wear shorts in - 15 F or -26 C . I seen it happen many times . Today temp is 42 F or 6 C ; So we are higher than normal . We should be about 10 to 15 F or -12 C to -9C That is normal for me . We had 4 inches of snow but has melted off . Keep warm .

I got a kick out of the penguins your friend and other rookie skaters were using, I've never seen those before. Creative and practical! (Any rink I've been to provided weak skaters with a device that looked like the walkers you see in an old folks home...).

She is a grown-up and can still jump and dance! that's one way to warm up. You had a couple of really good shots on day 1. You move like a pro. Have Palm Trees outside my Window and Green All Year Round - used to live in Cold Snowy weather where everything looks dead during the Cold Winters - prefer the Warm Weather with some cool days which last for about 6 weeks of the year

What you have here is Hoare frost. Under the right conditions (cold, high humidity, no wind) this frost builds up. Most of the time it only lasts a day. But once in my life I was in a place where this frost built up over a week of time and it was stunning.

Believe me, the schoolgirls ARE freezing LOL. In my hometown there is a private grils school and private boys school close to each other where they wear uniforms and the girls have the short skirts with NO TIGHTS BARE LEGS in -30 weather it's so stupid.... especially when you can wear cute and colorful wool tights LOL.

@1:09 I was brought up in southern part of Australia so I am used to the cold. If you lived her maybe you like it maybe not either. Here summer is brutally hot and dry. The grass dies and becomes dry. The plants winter from the extreme heat. I shut the house up and stay indoors. Eventually in the evening it becomes unbearable inside sometimes. I look forward to the cold every year, although its no were near as cold as Russia. That video you did of the beautiful valley's and the blue ice lagoon was incredible. It showed me the true beauty and uniqueness of Russia. When are you going to Yakutsk Svetlana? 😂 Do you have a nice mink hat like I bought for my eldest sister?

I'm in the American Midwest. A big fad here is men wearing summer-shorts in the winter when it is freezing outside. Where that idea came from I don't know.

I think in the big cities they should built more in the underground and interconnect different places to each other. In Singapore they did it at least in the city and in the new quarters. Than there are a lot of new style architecture "Haus im Glashaus", houses in a cupola who could be built or some street areas could be protected by a (extendable) cupola
