We usually get the worst weather in January and February. This past year 2021 we had a HUGE record breaking snow storm in February which doesn't normally happen. We usually get more ice than snow.

What are the diverse neighborhoods in OKC for middle income black families ???

We don't have any specific areas that I know of we are really all over the city. The eastside of Oklahoma city is where it's predominantly black neighborhoods but there's low income, middle, & high over there. The further east you go is lower income but the closer you get to the Capital is higher income.

Cool so black wall street is in tulsa. While you are there I think you'd like the philbrook gardens and also the Ahha museum. If you like French toast we have some friends with a food truck up there and they are always at events and neighborhoods. If you catch them out I'd highly recommend it. Its called Get Toasted.. If you come to OKC then go to Factory Obscura it's a really cool interactive type of exhibit good for a date. The new First American Museum is really nice I loved it highly recommended. If you like art then check out the OKC museum of art downtown. There is also rock climbing downtown. If you look at our Bricktown video you'll see it in there. There's a really nice book store/ coffee shop called Commonplace books located in Midtown. And as far as social events in February ehhh it may be too cold for anything and for people to want to be social 😂 Fassler Hall is cool on the weekends after like 10pm. There are dance socials like a couple Fridays a month if you like to salsa or bachata. Sports bars around here can be pretty fun. Let me know if you need other suggestions

The LGBTQ community is pretty big, they have an entire district dedicated to the community.

Hi there! Well, since I am not apart of that group I can' t exactly tell you how they feel they are treated. It could be different for everyone. I can say though that Oklahoma is known to be a conservative state, but many folks here are very accepting. Oklahoma has some of the friendliest people in my opinion. Hopefully someone will see your comment who is apart of the community and be able to give you more insight of what it's like living here. If you do move here and want to find more friends apart of the LGBTQ community, I hear 39th district has some good spots.

​@@rebelroad Gabriel, I was born and raised in Oklahoma City and I'm LGBT. I've never had any real issues, outside a few comments from a rude stranger here and there throughout my life. But that happens everywhere unfortunately. I think OKC has a GREAT gay scene for a city of its size, which is the 39th Street area they mentioned. There are about 8 LGBT-oriented bars or clubs, off the top of my head. I have many friends from interactions in that area. And while Oklahoma is definitely conservative, OKC tends to be more progressive and diverse, like most urban centers. Hope this helps!
