Excellent advice. I'm 53 and it took me a long time and a lot of hurt feelings to understand some friends are not genuine. Recently cut two people from my life as it was all one way and it hurts. Realised I need to move forward in 2023 and meet new people. X

I’m 52 and it took me a long time to realize friends I thought cared about be for so many years really are not good for me mentally or emotionally. The true friends I have are there for me and are so sweet and genuine and that’s what I wish for each of us here watching this video. ❤

I'm 54 and experienced so many friends who are immature, or if I decrease my time with them they blame me for not sticking around. If someone doesn't bring me joy, they become a burden, I'm going to have to move along without you.

I decided to cut off every person who was ghosting me for the last 2 years. I ended up alone and with no person to talk or to message to. Do I feel sad? Sometimes yes but it removed all anxiety which I had because of this people because I was constantly wondering and stressing myself why they don't reply me whrn I text them but when they needed something they always messaged as if we spoke yesterday. Nowadays I don't even reply. If someone didn't answer my 10 messages when I was asking how are you, is everything ok? Then I don't need to reply either. I try to learn how to be happy by myself.

I love your simplicity when you offer us a tutorial, Make-up we look so easy made to feel confident to reproduce it, in addition to being always fresh and pretty.😊

I love your talk for this video. I have been trying to salvage a friendship that hasn't even truly been a friendship for years. I give so much time and effort to check in on them and I always try to make plans to get reacquainted with them yet they never find the time to do the same for me or always make an excuse as to why they can't. Recently let go of a friend because they didn't care to communicate with me anymore, not exactly sure why but that's more on them than me. I gave a lot of effort to make conversation and check in but wasn't getting much in return. Decided to let go of the friendship because they didn't appreciate my friendship, it doesn't seem that they care much but we live and we learn. I won't be putting any energy into that "friendship" anymore. I love how you have chit chats during your tutorials!

Sometimes the person who doesn’t want to hang is going through a lot in their life like depression and have a problem reaching out to others. That’s why they decline to hang. Or they don’t feel confident in their own skin so they rather hide and not hang.

You are so beautiful (inside and out!). I, personally think you don't need makeup at all! And I thought you were my niece's age. She's 20! And thank you for the advice about the friends. I can't even count how many weddings and baby showers I've been to through the years only to never even see the "friend" again. I'm in my mid 50s and I met a new friend last year and she's great. First friend I've had who checks in on me, as I do for her as well. We love the same style of clothing and music and we both love animals and the same type of comedy. I really hope this friendship lasts. By the way, she's 16 years younger than me!
