The only thing I noticed as a 60 year old who has taken care of my skin since my 20's is that you haven't included your neck with the skin prep. Very important as you age. Dont get me wrong I think you're an excellent artist, very knowledgeable, and it could just be because of the mock neck top you are wearing. I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS! I am absolutely 100% sure that she includes her neck also,but now she was filming and wore a turtleneck so it would've been a bit difficult,but i am positive that usually when she aplies her skincare she is not in a turtleneck 😅

You can put toner or hydrating serum on your legs or dry body areas too! I layer it under my thick body butter and it makes a world of difference for dry body skin!

I highly recommend the Cerave Hydrating Toner, excellent product !

A moisturizing toner/essence I LOVE is the one from Dr. Jart’s Ceramidin line. A couple layers of it could even be enough when the temps aren’t quite as cold if you’re skin isn’t too dry. So, so hydrating and moisturizing as well and contains the five or so ceramides that are also in the Ceramidin cream (which I also LOVE).

Immediately went to Amazon to buy the vegan rice toner! I also grabbed the brand’s moisturizer to try it out. Already have the naturium sunscreen which I use as a moisturizer in summer but will add as another layer after moisturizer like you suggest!

I can never get the right balance for my skin and as someone who doesn't wear foundation, I take my skincare very seriously! Hi Nikki. Great tutorial for Fall skincare. I LOVE Naturium Multipeptide Moisturizer under my makeup. I use about a half pump on my mature skin and I get a perfect layer. It never pills or makes my makeup slip and slide.I really like the foundations you mentioned. I also really like the Revlon Illuminance foundation. I never sinks into my pores or lines and has very good staying power. I notice it's a favorite of many 40+ KZreadrs. 😊

Nikki, tysm for all these winter tips...I try to learn from you, the experts 👍. My face is more dry (combo oily T-zone) but my 😱cheeks are like the desert in the winter so this is really helpful.... !!! Now that 'menopause' also is setting in, it is major dry for sure !!!! 🙏😘

I have dry legs also, in the winter they actually flake. What has helped is physically exfoliating my legs. In the shower after cleaning, gently rub a mixture of coconut oil and sugar on legs and rinse. Follow with lotion as usual. At night after this process I , if they are really dry I also add a layer of petroleum jelly. When I don't have time for that a gentle dry brush also helps. Same for my hands. My skin is crazy because I have a combo, oily face.

I love to use Laneige cream skin! I start with that and then proceed with my regular moisturizer. It has worked wonders on my face. I am one that has to adjust makeup and moisturizers depending on the season lol.

I have really dry skin as well! Your best bet is to try anything marketed for very dry skin, even eczema skin. Stuff for dry skin never does enough for me like ever. My personal favs are the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion, or cream bc both are sooooo good, Vaseline Advanced Repair lotion, Nivea Intense Healing lotion and the Weleda Skin Food Nourishing Body lotion OR Body Butter! These are my ride or dies! Throw in the Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash and you’re set for life 😂

I had such an AH HA moment when i realized i can move products to the evening.. i was putting naturium exfoliator, C serum, Peptide serum, and primer on before makeup and the make up no matter what brand was falling off my face. I’m 67 and have oily skin and it was an overload. Now i use c serum and primer and that’s all and make up is not budging.. everything else goes on at night along with retinal. I have been using the Naturium glowy SPF since you recommended the pink Naturium balm with the ABH liner (they're so good!) and have been loving it. I also use the La RochePosay Toleriane Moisturizer AND the creamy cleanser -- the cleanser was a God send for my dry combo skin. Had been testing the MAC foundation (I manage Westman Atelier at Nordstrom) and finally bought it because its STUNNING, but the lOreal True Match Nude has been in my foundation rotation for almost a year now, and people couldn't tell it apart from Dior Forever Glow.. its SO GOOD! Just an abysmal shade range. You always make solid recommendations!

Hi Nikki. I'm embarrassed to say that I'm a new subscriber. When i saw that you doing a collaboration with my sweet Lisa J, I had to subscribe to your channel. You are beyond stunning. I can emphasize with winter dry skin. Ugh. At 64, my once oily skin is now dry. I take really good care of my skin, using Retin-A for almost 40 years. It can be drying, so moisturizing is so important. And yes, like you, my hands are always dry. I totally agree about skipping the primer in the colder months. It's serums, moisturizing SPF, I wait about 20 minutes, then go in with foundation. I love the BK Beauty 101 brush. I use the Hourglass loose powder to set my undereyes. The Make powder is stunning, as well as the Kosas. Thank you so much, Nikki. Great video. ❤

Nikki have you ever tried the Jergens wet skin lotion? Its a lotion that you use right after you shower before you dry off. It has really helped me retain moisture in my skin. I still use another lotion after but i have noticed a big difference since using this as a first step.

Hi Nikki, newish fan here...was driven to get the Naturium peptides product as an under make up moisturizer, just used it today, as I put on make up (in my car!) Just before a new job interview, wherein I would work for 2 hours (paid). Kinda risky choice to do something new, on an important day, IN THE CAR! Used it under my Nars concealer (as foundation) it was gorgeous, and wore beautifully all day, even hours later. I am SOLD. And I usually shy away from moisture under me up, I tend oily wi break outs. Thank you!!! Definitely paying attention to these winter recs. That Naturium sunscreen is next. And affordable, hallelujah 🙌!!!

Thank you Nikki loved the video ,I tried the Kosas following your advices and it’s not at all for my super dry skin ,I found it very structured in my skin .. I tried many ways many times ..and my eyes area is both super dry and crinkled so I guess I need to try the bake one now :) after that I’m avoiding definitely any powder as I tried so many the only one that worked for me was the Charlotte tilbury one .. no other ones has worked oh maybe the rcma .. if I applied it very well too .

I love your videos ❤ I'm an extra dry girl on my legs, too. I love the Aveeno eczema skin balm in a tub. It's really thick and yummy!! I would definitely try for your legs. And sometimes I put some over my skincare on my face day or night.❤❤❤

What do you think of the Peach and Lily Essence. I really love it. I'm 57 and find during the winter, I can layer 2 or 3 essences. There's one called Hyaluron Skin Essence by Hanskin. Love it also. The two work well together. And my mother taught me more than 40 years ago to always put any remaining moisture products on the tops of your hands. Live seeing you do that! 💜

Thanks for the informative video Nikki! I have a question about morning skincare routine vs skin prep for makeup…are they the same thing? What if I get up, shower, and do my skincare thinking I’m not putting on makeup today. Then hours later, my friend asks me to go for lunch…I wanna put on makeup but I’ve already applied all of my skincare…do I put it on all over again? Do I have to wash my face again? Do I use other products to prep?? Help!

Talking dry legs, I have very dry legs and the best thing I found for myself is to put a good moisturizer on that has ceramides etc then top it off with an oil blend. No mineral oil though. Works like a charm.

La Roche-Posay spf moisturizer has become a staple in my routine and Avène’s melt-in balm for the body keeps my legs hydrated it’s got kind of a heavy scent to it tho but my body drinks it up.

Many people think the Maybelline Fit Me powder is a dupe. That’s not talc free though.

Can you please do a video on fragrance free foundations with minimal ingredients. I have mild Rosecea and it is really hard to find foundations that don't irrirate my skin.

What do you recommend for winter, wedding makeup..?? I'm at a loss. I have combination oily skin pretty much year round. I do get dryer in the colder months like you, but it's usually in specific places like under my eyes and my cheeks sometimes. My t zone area and around my mouth is usually where I get oily. What could I do to keep the oil at bay, but still keep moisturized??
