    I come from a remote village and we rear cattles and grow our own food. We hunt and fish for food. My point is that it is fun if you do it once in a while but life in the village is all about hard labour.

    No size limit or number limit.. Keep'em all! LOL Actually, I love Omul. My favorite fish on Baikal. Delish!! Caught and had some on the shores of Posolsk. We have some land there. Beautiful is a under statement. We caught ours with nets.. cooked them on the beach over open fire. Seasoned them with salt and pepper and had a lunch right there. I pray to go back there next year!

    First gun was a single barrel Baikal shotgun , second was an under and over Baikal shotgun . Both were great guns , tough as nails .

    Some of those were very large for grayling some real trophies. And the color of that subspecies is very different from our Alaskan grayling.

    Some of them, especially the larger ones are not graylings but lenoks. Brachymystax lenok also known as Manchurian trout are fish which belong to salmonid. Sizewise they are about 40-80 cm, weigh up to 8 kg.
