We tremendously appreciate all of your support over the years. The Folk Firearms Collective is a husband and wife team comprised of Denny Ducet and Alina Aldobrando. Our goal is to preserve the passion, art, culture and traditions of the blackpowder community and the adventurous history behind it. Should we fail to immerse ourselves and educate each other in this rich history, posterity will wither and cease, leaving the younger generations to never experience the joy of such times. Join us as we disconnect from all the modern noise and chaos.
To support our channel, please feel free to become a channel member and gain access to exclusive content. All proceeds go to powder, ball, and associated accoutrements featured in our videos.
We humbly thank the Flathead Valley Muzzleloaders Club for their dedication to this craft, the land on which we shoot, and most importantly-their willingness to partake in this preservation of history. Of all the folks we’ve been honored to spend time with, these gents and gals are the greatest of our friends. We are forever grateful for their influence and education in our own lives through the course of our traditional muzzleloading journey.

DARN! Now I have an Itch that needs Scratching! and an Itchy Scratcher Finger! Spinning up a new batch in the mill Now! Love the Smell of BP Any Time!
Brother here to Gene. Great to see him live in the action with fellows who enjoy the same! I tell ya they ALL looked sharp in their garb & guns. I agree with another comment about it not being long enough. Back in Pennsylvania they are getting groups of Veterans with PTSD together to build muzzleloaders & flintlocks as rehab & then going on a shoot. Would like to see more of this kinda stuff.
Beautiful rifles

Good times!
I would love it if there were such gatherings where I live in NZ. I am very much a "lone wolf:" where flinters are concerned. Most people seem reluctant to acquire the expertise to operate them effectively. The way things are going here, flintlocks might be all we are allowed to shoot before long.... 🙂
this is ASMR for me while I'm too sick to get out and finish the state primitive firearm season thank you
Another great video!! I love the river scenes, the forest scenes, the clothing, the flintlocks and you all seem to be very good shots!! Not to sure about the the cold and the snow. lol 😂 Heading into summer here in Australia. Keep up the good work and looking forward to your next video. Cheers
All thet smoke in the air surely smells like Freedom! Give it another measure of powder and ring the Freedom bell. I'm jealous lol excellent videogaphy. From the Eel River Mountain men, Medicine Man.
Usually i change a video to a faster speed. Not yours. I feel like I'm right there with a bunch of misfits. Thank you for the video.
great event

This makes me want to be us citizen so bad. Great videos
Just found this channel and subscribed. Very cool video. I make all my own gear and powder, my wife makes my attire. I made my coworker a .50 cal Traditions Kentucky pistol kit. Giving it to him for Xmas. Hopefully he will get into blackpowder and I will have a new shooting buddy. Thanks for sharing this video and keep your powder dry.

@@FolkFirearmsCollective I was checking out your channel and saw a picture of a blue NW trade gun by Clay Smith. Went to his website to see all. There was a picture of a Blackfoot brave holding a lever action rifle. He was wearing a chest plate made of trade gun dragon side plates, 6 of them. Would love to hear the story of how he acquired them.

Gents and Ladies, i have been at this type of shooting since 1977. The biggest killer of what you have are strange people that think they have some god given right to challenge our freedom. Protect what you have and keep on doing what you do. " LIVE"!. Kindest regards to all, best moment 9.49. The sweetest blade ever and would love to skin a deer or two with this blade. From New Zealand.

Happy people...
I think you have the best muzzle loader videos on youtube. Who is the grizzled old gentleman that has the green scarf around his neck. He is in all your videos. Most all the clubs are gone in middle Ga. where I live. The ones left are what I call formal clubs with a shooting range. I like your woods walk much better. Sitting around a fire eating and drinking next to a river swapping ideas and stories. It just don't get any better than that... Looking forward to your next one. Great camera work by the way.

Is the gentleman who had the English sporting rifle still participating in the shoots? I haven't noticed him in the past couple of videos and he seemed very knowledgeable and involved.
@FolkFirearmsCollective
Жыл бұрын
Oh absolutely! He was here at this one but earlier shooting and got through the walk before I could catch up with him. He’s a founder of the club and one of the most active and knowledgeable individuals. He inspired me as a matter of fact, with his English Gentleman’s rifle being the first flintlock I ever fired.

One gentleman was shooting a very short firelock, was it a very short jaeger or a canoe gun?
