Your Chinese Evergreen "Silver Bay" has the largest leaves of any of the channels that have mentioned one, and it is not on a moss pole. Congrats! I have a Sansevieria trifasciata superb that was one of five pups and a mother plant. They died from root rot. She has been holding her own for about two years now. I love the shape. Enjoyed watching!

Beautiful Beautiful Plants!!! I noticed you said you kept having problems with thrips, have you ever tried Bonide Systemic Household Plant Insect Control? I used and have not had any more problems with thrips.

Thank you so much! Yes, thrips are the only pests that just keep coming back to terrorize my plants and I! 😮‍💨 I've never tried that kind of pest control before.. can you please recommend a brand/company?

It was nice to see plants that aren't huge and perfect but doing well, sometime seeing these monster plants grown in green house conditions gets discouraging for the average person who has a normal windowsill sometimes facing the wrong light. My Christmas cactuses didn't bloom until I moved here with a south window and I had control of the heating in the fall so they had the cool nights required before the heat kicked on. I've lost them now but they bloomed for 20 years.

I agree. I always want to show the reality of caring for plants and the journey.. and it's not always about the size of the plant, because every home and plant parent has its own set of conditions and responsibilities/priorities, respectively. Wow! 20 years is a long time to own a plant 💚 sorry to hear you no longer have them. So is the trick to keep the cool at night and warm in the day?

@@AHAVA7YAH they need a cold period to trigger the blooming and mine were in a south window so full sun. It did the trick for me.

@nicoleperron3315 Hi Nicole! Thanks for joining my video premiere on Saturday! I'm sorry I didn't reply to your question.. I wasn't familiar with how a prerecorded "Premiere" works and thought that I would get a chance to answer your comments/questions at a later time, but that wasn't the case and for this, I apologize. You asked about heat radiating from my grow light above my shelf perhaps being too hot for the plants. There's actually very little heat emanating from that grow light bulb that you can barely feel anything.. I made sure to check for that. Thanks again for the question 🙏🏾🌱💚

Love your set up! About a year ago (at least) I saw a video where you propagated your scindapsus and it inspired me to get one! So I bought it and divided it and one part got root rot so I tossed him just within the last few weeks. I have a small piece remaining. I’d love to get it nice & fluffy like yours. Thanks for sharing!

Aww sorry to hear. I actually just completed another big chop on that Scindapsus a little over a week ago, and just potted the majority of the cuttings into one pot today. If you can propagate that last piece, that would be awesome! Let me know if you give it a try 🤗💚🌱

@@AHAVA7YAHNo worries at all! That was my first time watching a live premiere 😊 I did order another scindapsus which should be here this week but I’m going to continue watching my other one. It’s not dying but not growing either. It’s one of my favorite plants. I have 6 plants coming in total lol three of them are different forms of peperomia which shouldn’t be too hard to keep 😊

@JoJo.714 Nice! Funny enough.. I lost (killed) the two peperomia that I've had.. well more sad than anything. I do want to try my hand at another one though, now that I have more experience with plants.
