Great show guys. The AP 15300, I believe the sky is the limit. I purchased the white dial in 2010 brand new from an AD for $9900 and watched it climb every year. I can see it hitting 30k within a year. Also like you said Roman they are discontinued, and compared to PP it’s still a great value against its stainless competition, stay well Jeff

When I see watches standing on its side, I almost know it's mostly going to be AP... I'm a simple man, I see AP, I like a video. Also Love the difference between Roman and Adrian and their difference in thought and opinion / banter.

I'm currently on my watch quest and now own 4 pieces which is the AP Beast all steel , Sea Dweller 43 , Omega 43 Good Planet and the god..... U-Boat 42. I just realized now watching this video of you guys that you let the watches lay down on the left side / case side, where I if needed lay down watch on crown part... reason is from long time I used to lay my first Rolex on case side for 10 years and it showed marks on case. Since then and 20 watches now in collection I have gone crown side. Do you have a prefered side or ? Ps. I have 2 friends wanting my Hublot... and I just love it more than that to let it go. I am maybe one of few Hublotfans out there, seems a bit to me that some people just think they need to be against the brand just to be against, never even tried it let alone owned one.

Can you do a show comparing the reliability of various high end brands, or all they all a out the same as far as reliability, service requirements and costs of service. For those that don’t have unlimited resources should we worry about any brands being in for service alot and expensive to service/repair?

I’ve been a viewer of this channel for a while, and and familiar with most watch related channels. I gotta say this is hands down the best watch related channel on KZread and I’m actually baffled as to why it’s taking so long for this channel to blow up, cos in my opinion you deserve at least a million subscribers. Not to discredit other watch related youtubers as they all have their own good things about them. Anyway I’m rambling just want you to know you have taught me a lot about watches and the wealth of knowledge you have is unmatched on KZread. Keep up the great work I’m sure the numbers will rise 👍👍

Fantastic episode! It's nice to see the business side of the watch market. I would like to suggest an episode showcasing sub-10K watches. I plan to buy a luxury watch within a year and will be sticking to 4 figures. I think many folks like me are way too uncomfortable with 5 or more figures and want to wade in a little before diving into the pool. Hey Roman, love the video. Actually love all your video's, I've learned a lot from it. I like how you implemented the zoom in on the watch that I suggested a couple video's back. I actually have a question about an AP CODE 11.59, my dealer offered me a perpetual calendar on the 26394OR because I really like how the dial is, it looks very unique. But since I already have an plain jane CODE 11.59 15210BC with the new smoked burgundy lacquered dial on a black strap, I passed on the offer of the perpetual calendar. So I actually wanted a second opinion on the 26394OR, do you think it is a sleeper? Keep up the good work.

Interesting observation: steel watches from Rolex & AP are selling over retail, you cannot see them at an AD store, but I never see anyone wearing them! When I buy a watch, I enjoy wearing it. I would love to get Roman's perspective on when was the last bull market in watches (like we have now in steel), how long did it last, and what happened to cool demand. I also would love to see an episode(s) on $5 to $10,000 luxury watches that are 40 to 42 MM that I could buy from Luxury Bazaar today.

Hey Micah, great question. I'll address this in a future video!

You all should pick a few watches that are representative of the market in general (e.g. 5711, Panda/116500LN, etc) and each market update, talk about pricing of those pieces. That way, viewers get a consistency of what’s happening over a few pieces. Hard to get a feel for market updates when diff pieces are being talked about each update. The diff pieces are cool and should continue, but doing an update on a few key pieces each episode would be equally interesting. Just a thought.

Hiya guys.I want to throw a spanner into the works. Why can you buy a mechanical/auto movement in a very well made piece for a few pennies but have to pay thousands for a branded company? I am a quartz bloke so no trouble to me but it still begs the question. The Seiko nh movements and the Chinese movements are everywhere.Thanks, Len,England.

30:42 Clearly the “blue” Royal Oak used to be a white dial and you guys forgot to put a blue date disc on when you swapped it over... the date discs should always match the dial!

It is improved but it still doesn’t seem right to me. Especially when they are both talking at once there seems to be an echo. I hope Roman and his folks get this figured out. The lighting is better.

Loved this episode. Watched from start to finish. I know these long episodes won’t get 100k views purely because of length but you get much more value from these 5-8k viewers on this type of video when compared to a 4 minute 100k view video on “Best Value Rolex Under $5000”. Long story short these style of videos are fantastic and you should keep making them despite the lower views. Of course they need to be mixed in with more mainstream type videos for algorithm purposes, I get that. Cheers
