Probably the best video on KZread on the ridiculous BMW windscreen washer pump problems. Followed your guide, as I had a blockage, step by step. Problem solved. The many other videos about "gel" build up and siphoning are just bollocks , one even stating that the usual blockage is caused by not using BMW washer fluid ! This is the first and last BMW I'll ever own Far too many stupid problems, far too much plastic and what should be simple jobs made almost impossible to repair by design. Example being blocked sunroof drain pipes impossible to clear as there is a 90° internal turn . If BMW's were dogs they would definitely be highly strung poodles

Got an e91. Every other video I've seen had one pump, smart that you covered the model with all options. Much appreciated.

Garage was going to charge me £50 for the pump and £60 labour. I found a new pump for £12 and thanks to your video saved the labour costs. Thank you very much.

My reservoir was leaking, so I purchased a new reservoir and pump. Followed your instructions and was able to fix it. Coming from a 2004 Mercedes Benz to a 2007 BMW 328i, I must say that after fixing several things, I find the BMW easier to work on myself then the Benz.

Watched your video slightly different on the 7 Series F01/F02, dont need to remove tank completely to get to window washer pump, but same blocked filter, which curied my problem, many thanks for your video

Thanks for the video! Just replaced the hose on mine.... You definitely have to remove the tire and tire we’ll cover to perform this replacement. But it was easy.

Thank you for the guide, appreciate it. Just done mine on my M140i. It was slightly different but not too much. The three push in connectors on the lip of the arch were a pain. I couldn't re-use mine and had to buy a huge assorted pack just to replace three. Apart from that, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, so I saved a good £150 garage bill and I knew it had been done properly.

Is there a part # or a name or description I can use to find those three push in connectors? I found two of the pins but would like to complete it right, so looking for replacements thanks

@@glensprague9979 I just took one of the old broken ones from my wheel arch, to Halfords, and the assistant fetched me a box of them, they sell an assorted sizes box.

Great video guys, m thinking it will be more or less the same on f20..

I have an F22 228i and attempted to access the single washer pump which stopped working. I disassembled everything and could see the tank but it seemed to be anchored on the bottom and I had no idea how to dislodge it. Was running out of daylight so reassembled everything to fight another day, look for more instructions/videos. If I loosen the 10mm screw holding the tank in place, can I work the tank upward to release it and gain access to the pump? Also, the filler cap and tube seems to angle in a different way on the F22. Does that need to be detached from under the hood before the tank can be tilted or pushed forward to access the pump? Maybe you haven't worked on a two series but any insights would be extremely appreciated! Frustrated that I need to repeat the whole process again soon and hope to at least have more correct information before I do. Thanks, if you can give any insights!

Easy for u to pull it down and out. Wish u show where the tabs are so that we can NOT break any.

Mine is leaking somewhere. Is there a common fail point that causes these to leak? I can fill mine up and before I need to use it, it is empty. Hose or gasket?

There's a chance it's the seals that sit at the bottom. I'm going through the same thing.

Had the same question. Took me forever to confirm the rivet and part number. Wheel Flare Rivet - BMW (Part # 51-71-7-002-953)

You still gotta get in the wheel well, the connection is behind that panel.
