Hey man I just wanted to say thank you. When I was like 10 I had this issue with my laptop. Was never able to find a solution and ended up making a new user. Today I grabbed my old laptop in hopes to zero fill its HDD and use it for my PC. I thought to myself "isn't this easy I just have to restore the file format" and ended up googling and finding your video. You were able to help the 10 year old me inside lol.

You saved my pc and my life. It's like 12 am here, i was working on a project and i accidentally did something with Microsoft Office. Been searchimg for videos on youtube for more than an hour and finally found this. It really helped me out. God bless you!

I have the same issue but it occurred in my flashdrive. All file extension turn to acrobat reader file association (lalo) includes all apps execute files that supposed to be .exe file type in its original state. It's weird because it only occurred to my flashdrive and my ssd storage... my 2 other ssd drive that contains OS is running fine without such issue. I tried all the steps in your video and also a similar method form other channels but it didn't solve the issue. Have an idea?
