Tanya was my late brothers favourite singer.How ironic this was also his favorite song.Lost him back in July 1973 RIP Gary miss you love you..He loved her teddy bear song we used to listen to her Thanks for sharing this.

No, they did not marry.

Tanya has a real down home personality. A sweet woman. My mom and Tanya spoke about about Tanya’s hard times, during a cruise where she was the main liner. My mama, who is now in heaven, and Tanya were like ole family. My mama spoke about how she wanted to give her a big hug when Tanyas kids were kidnapped by their biological father, but Tanya still had to perform, looking like Judy Garland, with smeared make up and all. Tanya spent an hour with my mom, as her folks and cruise folks yelled at her. She said that she was busy let her be. I look back at those pictures and memories and cherish every one. May her doggy heal. Mine is very ill as well. Tanya - you and Cher are around all these years not just because of your talent- it’s because of your and Cher’s kindness, love and respect of all their fans. May god be good to you. Dr Rhonda
