    Keep it going man! That's awesome. I'm a bit more advanced in bboying since I have been doing it for 9 years but I'm here to show my friend that he can learn as well. I think your video will help him out a lot.

    @@matic117 No plans in becoming a bboy. I’ve just always wanted to learn the windmill and some of the power moves. I can six step and top rock but not much beyond that.. I practice a lot of calisthenics and some self taught gymnastics. I just figured the windmill would be a cool move to learn and to help keep myself limber. I’m 45 years old so I’m not getting any younger. I’m proud to say I’m in better shape than most 20-year-olds these days but that’s because I work at it every day. Just don’t recover as well as I used too:-)

    My congrats man, tha practice make master, I use to do that when I was young in 1984 till 1986, I did it without hands I put them on my face, on my chest and sometimes I grab my pants above the knees and spin on my head. It was the best I could do. Now breaakers can flare, that's amazing ¡¡¡

  • @recordball

    @recordball

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yep. I was there too at first. You should never be landing on your hips. You’re not going up high enough on your head and neck. When you spin on to your back focus on only landing on your upper shoulders and keeping your back completely off the ground. The entire motion only works properly when you stay up high on the shoulders.

    focus on keeping your left leg high when you’re at the side freeze, when you’re sure that your left leg is high enough then you kick with your right leg

    Does anyone have any tips on how jump.back on your hands (turtle freeze) without your feet touching the floor?

  • @recordball

    @recordball

    2 жыл бұрын

    You have to stay up really high on the back of your neck through the entire motion. When you hips drop too low when on your back your feet will hit the floor when you go back into the turtle position. The entire motion needs to feel more like yours spinning on your neck and face rather than your back and chest.

  • @recordball

    When you roll up onto your shoulders you should be very high on your shoulders almost feeling like you’re doing a headstand, soon as you hit your shoulders you need to pop and thrust your body up in the air to flip over to the second freeze. The key is in the “pop”.
