Great video! Appreciate the history, it's interesting. Surprising they don't have replacement parts for them. Thanks and look fw4d to more of your tests and reviews!

😳 I went to their website and they do have faster 1 in 8 twist barrels, for their 6.5's (like the 6.5 prc), but they aren't chambering anything in the 270 Winchester, from what I could see in any of their model 90's! 😭

I have this rifle in 7mm WSM. Bought it new with a scope at Walmart around 2005 for $399. I like it but it is a bit much for VA whitetails at 75 yards. Use 140 grain AB's and don;t notice the kick much but they are loud. Bought it with the hope of hunting Elk but so far that hasn;t happened. I typically hunt with a 25 WSSM M70 Ultimate Super Shadow and it is perfect for deer hunting in my neck of the woods. I've killed 25 or so between 25 and 150 yards. Thanks for the good work. Appreciate your reviews of the Speer Hotcores and Grand Slams. Your reviews confirmed what Speer has said about these bullets.

Had a Savage 110 in the same caliber for a VERY short time. Recoil was problematic. It seemed to fly up into my cheek from the bench like nothing else I ever shot. Good vid.

Very interesting! I have two ultimate shadow stainless, one 30-06 and one .270 Win. They are both control round feed that were made after FN took over I believe. I think they weee made in SC, I should call Winchester to try to find out. I found them both last summer still new in the box! I paid too much for them and then spent even more by putting both into Bell and Carlson stocks. But they have both turned out to be real shooters which I will never part with and hope to pass down to my two boys one day.

I have a 30-06 that looks identical to a black shadow but it's an XTR Sporter from '93. Pushfeed. Groups pretty tight. Nice trigger. Dark blueing. And, I actually like the synthetic stock on it.

I had a black shadow in 300 rum, terrible rifle, got a 700 long range and haven't looked back
