I just found your channel! So excited to learn more from a seasoned grower. I've always dreamed of growing my own food. God has blessed me with a beautiful acre that had been abused with trash strewn all over, not a worm or bee in sight. Cleaned up property, put in raised beds, hauled in soil, wood chips, amended with my compost, planted flowers to attract pollinators. I give God all the glory for what my little garden has produced! Watched your videos on potting soil mixes and learned a lot. My mixes are not nearly so complex but I'm interested in trying them this year. Expanded the garden by 50% this spring and working to be ready for planting in a couple weeks.

Well I'm 66 and raised 4 youngish on organic gardens but still enjoy learning and still wanting to be as smart as an ant! I just ran across your recent video on growing peas and decided to check out some of your other videos. I love growing and then canning the tomatoes for later use. I moved from Seattle to New Mexico in 2016 and have been trying to figure out growing methods that will work in the high desert here. We only get 5 to 7 inches of rain and often experience temperatures in the the triple digits during the late spring and into the fall. Your tip regarding growing corn on the west side of yor peas really caught my attention, so I thought I would subscribe to your channel and check out your videos for great nuggets of information to grow vegetables successfully.

I grow 200 tomatoes and give away 40-50 plants every year. 8-10 different varieties every year. Still looking to grow my most favorite. Stm-2255 works best for my area with tons of produce. Sweet millions on the cherry tomatoes. And the ugly tomatoes Cherokee purple for the taste and best sandwich ever. Trying the Cherokee Carbon this year, I was told it's great we will let my garden judge that. Lol Also trying the big Zak and tie dye they are new for me and my garden this year.

I grew a 3 pound tomato last year. The variety was Carbon. I love the taste of the black tomatoes. I have been doing 'Back to Eden' with some modifications that work here in the Middle of America. My first garden was 61 years ago when my family planted 3.5 acres. I have a few videos on KZread and watch YT for gardening tips and success stories...like yours! Luke, I found your channel recently and really enjoy you and your dad’s gardening content ! No gimmicks, no tricks and no “flash and dance”; just solid gardening advice derived from years of experience. Hi, here is what I like about your channel. I love that you speak from experience, I can tell that you know a lot about gardening and I have learned a lot from you already. It is great to find your channel, I am using what you taught in my garden this year up in Canada. I would love to get seeds from big tomatoes. If you keep on offering the helpful content that you have, your channel will keep growing. Here are some ideas for your next videos: fungaly dominant compost and your fruit trees. How to use mulch so it does not deplete the nutrients in your garden as it breaks down. How to grow lettuce for winter indoors, interplanting flowers in your garden to confuse pests and attract benificial bacteria, how to grow lettuce indoors during winter. When to start your seeds, how to grow beets and Swiss chard without Mill bugs bugging them. How to grow peas has tall has your house, using ground cherries as a hedge row between crops, How to winter prep your garden, the fastest way to store your drip irragtion before winter, how to do a tree graft, how to do a multi tree graft, how to take plant cuttings.

I usually tell people that it takes 3 years to build up the soil for a decent garden so please don't be discouraged, keep trying and if you follow our videos I think you'll see improvement in your gardening skills! plus you'll be eating more nutritional food,just being outdoors moving,bending,breathing,stimulating your lymph system all help to improve your health!
