Ah yes: dump over 80 grass and 40 logs (using sawhorse) on boats, then focus super hard to kill the claws, stop the healing, and jump boats when the one you're on is about to sink, not even factoring basic survival needs.

Also skip nights via console commands and use animation cancel to increase dps😅 Its a shame though, because it would like to fight crap king like this, but the inventory management like this on console is impossible😢

This video made me question my 1k hours of DST gameplay.

i’ve always struggled with the inventory management of the popular solo method, although this method clearly requires its own form of expertise i almost think it would be easier to learn because of how few moving parts there are

nah the popular method is definitely easier imo, you mostly just gotta pay attention to which spells he does and use the appropriate tools for each

i don’t mean to insinuate that it’s easy, certainly making the small handful of frames window with this level of consistency to catch the healing spell is no small feat, but it just seems like it would be a better or at least more fun tree for me personally to bark up because of how much i hate juggling 3 different hand slot items that need to be constantly cycled out and replaced lol. to me it seems like the less frustrating fight

@@deep-spaghetti this is definitely way more frustrating, it just looks easy because this was the winning attempt, missing 1 input at the healing phase sets you back several minutes of progress and even a seagull can make you lose the fight by not letting you place the boat

nah this definitely way harder. Being able to consistently animation cancel like this, which I'm pretty sure is necessary to cancel the healing without weather panes, is super difficult and takes lots of time to master.

And here i'm, still just spaming bee mines

the first thing came in mind when i saw the thumbnail is "is it any easier?" and it probably is from this strat and it cost less but the fight takes slightly longer. (luv your vids) also how the hambat deals more damage?

Extremely Impressive. Id rather catch 30 bees however.

Would a miner hat account for the TMIP cheat at 7:02? Or a lantern so you could still switch between the 2 football hats... Or maybe casting a dwarf star? but you have to be careful when moving the boat around. I guess you didn't want to start over with that included, but it's definitely going to take longer than a full day so you'd normally have to account for the dark somehow - wish it would've been addressed too

you know the fight Is an absolute mess when something like this is barely possible. I really hope one day we get a crab King rework. I'm tired of him just being a massive chore for celestial champion runs
