This happened to me with a dinosaur event. The commercial made it seem so fun and exciting so I took my nephew. We walked the entire thing in 10 minutes, they were selling flea market toys, a small sandbox (that a kid probably peed in) to "digg" for bones, it was so hot inside. We waited outside to get picked up and I was letting people know to take their kids somewhere else and save money.

As terrible as this is, these kids have a story that they will talk about for decades. Honestly, these kids and parents will be laughing about this for the rest of their lives and their just telling the story to others years from now will be well worth the 35 Quid spent. For me, experiencing something so terrible, ridiculous and traumatizing would end up bringing more joy in the end than the short term enjoyment if the event wasn't so terrible and traumatic.
