Williams Peak, Chilliwack River Valley
SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/lifeofluke
The pyramidal shape of Williams Peak stands out above the Chilliwack River valley, and makes for a gorgeous summit. A grunt of an effort is required to hike up to the ridge from valley level, and then seemingly endless boulder hopping awaits, before the final steep pitch up the south gully to the top. A wildfire burning towards the north and Hope made for interesting views. Thanks to Tom for joining on this one, and thank you for watching!

Thanks Keith, that is my plan!
Beautiful as always Luke, thanks for sharing. Tough hike on such a hot day. I can't believe you only brought two litres of water with you. Impressive.

Thanks Mike! I should have brought more water, but 2L was all the container capacity I had at the time, so there's a lesson in that.
Luke hi from Calgary. Looked like a gut buster in places particularly the last half but well worth it given the views. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, Luke! You've inspired me to get out for more hikes in BC. Just got back this weekend from doing the Howe Sound Crest Trail. Was very tough but totally worth it. Keep up the awesome videos. Thank-you!

Thanks Tristan! Glad you did the HSCT, love to hear it!
Always love how you start to enter into the mountains as you get into Chilliwack. My heart belongs in Hope. Have you hiked there before?

Yeah, I agree! I have hiked a bit near Yale, but not actually in Hope itself.

Thanks Dean, it is a big day, but if you can do Mt Currie, you can handle this one!
Great video as always. If you ever do another hike out in the Fraser Valley, check out Spencer’s Peak. It’s right on the border. Tomyhoi and Canadian Border peak look amazing!

Hey Luke, do you think there is flat spots at the summit to set up camp?

Yeah, from what I remember there's room for a tent at the top. Keep in mind though, no water.
