This trail is only open in the month of August (if it opens at all), and since the joining trial was damaged a few years back, this is the only road available to drive to Alpine Tunnel ghost town.

We're up in the Northern front range. We spent a few days camping and exploring out that way for this trip. Lots of fun and absolutely beautiful sights.....
Love all the noisy cars up at altitude. Really improves ones chances of seeing wildlife and ya know... getting away from it all. 👎👎👎👎

Well, they are less noisy than the trains that used to run through here, so there's that. To each their own. Thanks for the view and interaction!
