Wish he had managed to make that Daytona Anima engine work for the trip, I feel like the story would have gone a different way if he'd managed to solve the transmission issues. Willy would have been more... heroic. Or maybe the rest of the Jeep would have just come apart faster - I guess we'll never know.

I herd this guy got lost in the desert during the 5th episode and is still walking around aimlessly in the desert. Legend has it that if you go there at dusk and listen quietly you can still hear him compiling about the visors on his helmet

Bodybuilder here... Ed has got some serious endurance to be able to push that thing up so many hills for 6 hours straight. Gotta say, I was impressed! I bet his back felt utterly destroyed the next day.

Ed lived in the UK, not really that far from me. I watched his old videos travelling the world on a C90, one of the very first Vlogs, came across him again years later when he helped Noraly out in an epic rescue mission, then picked up on this madcap adventure. Always entertaining. Amazing to think he now works in a dirt bike shop not far from the MOAB. I keep checking back, either he froze to death in a tent, is still pushing the jeep back to civilisation, or broke down completely and got airlifted out. Lol. Or, he could just be really crap at editing and the person he gave the job to has done a runner with his footage...

Your positive attitude is contagious! This has become my new favorite channel!

The plan was to ride to moab, but I came from -30c, so I was enjoying the 25° weather. Though one night, I bent the front rim, lost all the air. Set up the tent and slept in my 10° sleeping bag waking up to find frozen water bottles. It wasn't exactly ideal. But it made for a good story and an even better memory. Thank you Ed for giving me that idea! Aswell all the hard work you put into the videos! Thank you!

I live in this area and have camped in the surrounding areas in spring and summer but I’d NEVER camp in the winter with temperatures like this. Also I’m impressed with the bravery to travel through these super desolate parts of Utah with a less than reliable rig. Love the show!!

if this is the type of thing you are gonna do more of (I doubt it is lol) why not run a bike brake lever and cable to the side of the windshield, cconnect the other side to the throttle linkage and you could push and throttle without being bent over the side of the jeep. Just an idea. Love the content as always!

Your advice in that tent reminded me in being in the army and some difficulties in hikes and other sports. Well, the promise for something that we'd never expect and weren't ready for wasn't quite what I expected. The end of "Independent film making without advert breaks" era. As mentioned at the end of the video, the thing you'll never expect is in the next video. And it was a hard call about the advert, but unfortunately it is needed for the channel to make videos more than once every 6 months. It was either the advert or I do some more engineering at sea, which would mean much less content.

Seeing him struggle with the snow ridge reminded me of when i was in High School my best friend and i decided to go mountain biking in a wooded ridge area, but used a trail map that was 20 years out of date. So we spent about 3 hours just carrying our bikes through a section of waist high brambles up a ridge thinking "the part of the trail that is maintained will re-appear any moment now. When we finally reached the top and saw the trail pick back up we were exhausted but felt amazing for accomplishing something so hard to do. We told ourselves we would do this trail once a year again just to test ourselves. We never went back.

Bloody hell over 300k views and over 2000 coments in a day! People we're really waiting for this one. Everyone is in a celebrating mood and for a amazing good reason. Never waiting for a KZread video was this worthy. Thank you!!

how this hasn't happend already I have no idea, I would literally immediately by that helmet even though I have no use for such a helmet at the moment! such a great opportunity!

This channel is one of my most anticipated and loved on KZread. I get excited when I see an upload! Inspirational life living going on in every episode :) By the way, videos are NEVER TOO LONG, so don’t think that you silly freak!

This video reminded me of a story my uncle told about a trip out west. "We started up the mountain but finally bogged down in snow. A man coming down stopped, got out, and asked, "What in the hell are you doing?" We told him we want to go to Lake Tahoe.... The man said, "You can't go to lake Tahoe. That is the Donner pass up there. You're all going to die. Turn around and follow me down."

This is great, and when you went through the tunnels near the end I knew exactly where you were. I love seeing this adventure and seeing a place I called home from a much different perspective.

These videos are NOT too long. Not at all! Better entertainment than Netflix!

When Ed says at then end I won't talk much because the video is already to long I just think........make it longer 😂 I love it. Joe Rogan needs to do a podcast with you, he would love your stories.
