Amazing how nice these total strangers are. First the happy group sharing water. Then Clive is an absolute legend but it somehow gets completely overshadowed by Kyle full trust lending Ed his truck. Having watched the other four videos I now feel that I know enough abot your character and your methodology for accomplishing goals and your irresistibility to trouble that I feel comfortable enough to hazard some broad-stroke guesses about the weird and mysterious copyright issue. I think the copyright issue is probably really fascinationg, highly peculiar, unneccesarily complicated, thick as thieves with youtube, and surprisingly painful from time to time. How were my uesses? Any of them somewhat correct?

I binged watched all 5 parts, and for some reason I stopped thinking that this is a completely insane thing to do and that normal people would do this. I catch myself thinking this and have to remind myself that his is a truly insane journey that no right minded person should do this.
people just genuinely wanting you to succeed in your ridiculous adventure and willing to do a lot to help you out is just super heartwarming. Also that last part made my jaw drop lmaooo i didn't expect that at all.

Back in the late 90's I was in the Boy Scouts. We went fishing at June Lake near Mammoth Ca, the starter died on out motor home (our only vehicle) we walked to the next camp site and asked for help. The people gave us the keys to there truck, went to town, New starter, we filled up there tank as a thank you. I'm happy that there are still helpful people still!

North Lake Powell and Bullfrog Marina are my favorite spots to visit, but no one talks that much about them. So glad you drove on through and that you enjoyed the beauty and the people so much!

Kyle put a smile on my face fr, that’s what makes me proud of being an American, typically ppl in the Midwest are incredibly hospitable and generally helpful instead of bitter like I know ppl on the east coast are (I assume west coast as well but I’m only a Brooklyn born New Yorker)

Not truly rare, just not acknowledged as much as the negative. Ive met so many more generous and nice than I had ever expected in places people claim as horrible. Humans are great a majority of time. Its the bad times that we hear about.
Not many videos/series are worth a 3-4 month wait... but this one certainly was! Glad you took some time to recoup and take care of yourself! What an awesome adventure!! Those idiots don't realize how much money offroading brings in and if they successfully kill the trail system the places they sleep and eat at won't be nice anymore
A few months ago my son and i just came across this series of you driving the Willy. Didn't think much of it. Then a couple of weeks ago my wife and i were watching another KZreadr that goes by @Someguyrides, and he mentioned you as his inspiration. After watching all your videos, my wife and i are going to get the new CT125's and go adventure riding ourselves. Thank you for the absolutely off the wall and silly ways to show how FUN adventure riding can be... We love all your videos... Cant wait for any new ones to come out...

Been to the US 4 or 5 times, mostly with the British Army but travelled to amazing places after Endex, Texas and Arizona in particular are spectactular and the people are so friendly.
One episode of c90adventures is a year's worth of other KZreadrs in terms of quality and storytelling.

what a lovely group of people, it’s true what the fellow says, you’ll do things which the majority of people will never do, my adventure begins in March 2024, I am heading to Canada and from there we will see… I was able to secure a visa hence why I’m going to Canada… I just woke up one day and said life is too short to repeat the same day over and over again… absolutely love this series

With all the negativity out there its nice to see there is so much kindness out there. A guy you just met called to check on you and gave you the key to his $80,000 truck so you could get the frame on your $3000 mini jeep welded.
Ed.....in a world of utter beige , doom and despondency, your epic and slightly silly mini jeep adventure has brightened up my life in a way I can't adequitley ( apologies for the spelling..I'm a tad dyslectic...) describe.....and goes to prove very nicely with guys like Kyle that there are decent and trusting people out in the big bad world who are prepared to let a total stranger use their very expensive truck.....can you imagine that happening here in Britain? Good luck and I cannot wait for the next episode!

Do it now while the kids are still kids. When they hit puberty, things change. My mom took us kids on a low budget adventure for 6 or 7 years in a row. The last few summers were in a 1950 Ford school bus that she converted into a camper! The Memories!!!!

You will find the kind of generosity in this video from one end of Utah to the other. Man, those high desert nights are bitter cold, the temperature reading doesn’t quite tell the story, if you know, you know. This series has been nothing short of awesome!
I used to live in southern Utah. And what your seeing now, I lived it! There is nothing that can compare to the awesome beauty of this place.
This is just what I needed on the day my poor kitty cat Bandit gave up the ghost..She was an off roading kitty cat and has ridden on my shoulders all over the country..

Folks in Utah are just good folks... I once sunk my truck into a ditch w/ snow up to my windshield. 2 guys roll up seconds later, take a quick look and say 'well, we got a shovel' and 2 hours later we got me out... nowhere else in the world would that have happened

Same thing happened in Michigan in the 80s, and within the last 7-10 years we got most of it back but the side by side folks have destroyed everything plus some it won't be long before losing everything again.

I love the compliments about my home state of Utah. And you’re right, a camera doesn’t do justice. One has to explore the wide open desert wilderness to appreciate its vast beauty and variety: Moon, Mars and otherworldly.
All i can say is wow! As a fellow brit, i am amazed at the open spaces of Utah. We are lucky to get a couple of miles of green lane before hitting black top and you have so much freedom over there. And that's just Uath. I lived in the Southwestern US for 19 years (Arizona) and there is just endless amounts of open desert, higher elevation desert, forests. You get all sorts off different climates, views, and landscapes. I've been almost all over the US and the southwest n northwest are the two most beautiful spots I've seen in the country. I'm back in my home state of Illinois, it's nowhere near as beautiful as the western U.S. IMO. Cheers, friend!

I think it has a lot to do with remoteness. Closest town can be 2h away, and yeah, just take my truck, I have better things to do right now. But this same scenario in LA? No, absolutely not. It's less of an American problem, and more of a "are you 3h away from real life, and need help" problem.
I love this series so much. It's amazing how kind complete strangers can be. I mean come on! Random dude says "drive my truck on a few hour round trip!" So awesome!

As a German I in fact got near a heart attack when I saw that you can just drive there without getting massive problems. But I tricked the system a bit when I used an electric vehicle and nobody noticed me😂

Came here after a recommendation from Distractible podcast (I recommend a lot!) and now I'm addicted to watching this madman lol
I laughed out loud when the mini jeep became an amphibious mini jeep with a pair of water skis! The conversion was unexpected and crazy Ed didn’t have the patience to sit around waiting for the Lake Powell ferry to resume service. No tarmac for the little unsung hero! 😝

Are they water skis or two inflatable kayaks I couldn't tell honestly.
You could've called Matt's Off Road Recovery for that weld job. They would've loved it.
