They love the law, until it is used against them and they are held to account. It someone from the Dems were to break the law, and it has happened, I would want them held accountable as well. But equal justice is a very hard concept for the GQP to understand right now.

We used to hold news organizations to a standard in this country, they need to be sued for misrepresenting that they're a news source, and then shut down. And just to be impartial, a few of the left-leaning news channels need the same thing done to them.

Back when there was only like 3 TV stations and no internet for people to get free access to whatever information they wanted, news didn't need to compete with anything else just to survive as a business. This was before 24 hour news networks were a thing. So it wasn't about news standards, it was just the environment and economics of news as a business at the time lent itself to the more manageable and respectable form it used to come in. Nowadays, whenever a news outlet *tries* to do this again, they go bankrupt because not enough people actually care. See VICE News for said proof. And Fox has been sued, numerous times, over misinformation. They generally get out of those lawsuits with the claim that their popular personalities like Hannity or Ingram are not news shows but commentators who strictly comment *on* the news, they don't present the news or claim to. And that is true to an extent. Of course they don't call attention to that fact as obviously as they should which is why the GOP cult often don't realize what they're watching is just pure propanda thinly veiled as punditry. The actual "news" side of Fox News which isn't their nut job commentators actually does *most of the time* present the news and there's even been plenty of times when there has been friction between Fox News anchors and the commentator side.

​@@danielgehring7437 yeah, im pretty sure most liberals like myself wouldn't mind losing CNN so long as FOX goes down as well. I would kinda like to keep MSNBC (Rachel Maddow is amazing) but I'd be willing to trade it if it meant getting rid of Rupert Murdock and all his "news" channels.

You can always tell what they're pushing in the media when they ALL are saying the exact same thing. The look on Stephen's face after the Freudian slip....GOLD!!

This is truely the golden age of late night shows and I'm loving every minute of it.

There will be lots more indictments coming this year. He may not be held responsible for his incompetence handling the pandemic but I bet it gets highlighted during his various trials anyway.
