Wow, you have opened my mind to how much I've been sleeping on the possibilities HHP gives you! The polishing is right there and I've drawn a complete blank on how much you can do with it. Thank you, for tearing down the creative blinder I've had on for months now. Also, I had no idea that there is a way to put pathing designs into an interior? Please share your wisdom, I'm dying to know how that works! 😳

First of all, I'm SO happy that I can be some kind of inspiration! It makes me really happy :) Now to the inside path placement👻: You have to exit the design mode, so that you can walk around with your character (and you will have to walk to an area of the room with no carpets). Then, if you open your nookphone - go to the design portal thingie with all of your codes. Choose a code you want to place and click on it. There will be multiple options to chose from (and I don't really know how exactly they are called) BUT I do know you have to choose the second option from the top. You can then choose different options to display the code, like painting, mannequin and ✨tile mat✨ whis is the option you'll want to choose :) There is also the option to "display on floor" (or something like that) but this option will just put the one code on all floor tiles at the same time, so don't do that, it usually doesn't look that good tbh Let me know if this helped, otherwise I can try again with the explanation 🎃

@@bloodybebs Thank you, that was very informative! I know exactly what you mean, your explanation was neat and detailed. Never even thought about going outside the design mode to decorate a home 😅 I wish I had your talent for making a space feel lived in, all those little details and decorations feeling like someone actually put them there and made the space their own. My own designs mostly end up feeling like showrooms and it's hard to break the bad habit. I'd probably be great at making some perfectly manicured "palace garden" inspired island, but I hate the idea of making something so regimented for my animal pals - I want them to have something fun to explore. No gonna lie, your castle theme is making me itch to make an RPG fantasy inspired island. With a tiny village, all cozy and mostly medieval and a big, dark forest to be explored, castle and dragon (Godzilla) included! Not sure how I'd get my villagers to all wear the right clothing (Raymond would be a fabulous wizard kitty!), but I am ready to challenge myself. Thank you for being an inspiration! ❤

Oh YESSS that is such a cool idea! I love castle/fantasy islands - you can't go wrong with that (they're expensive tho.. those castle walls... damn💀). Especially after Baldurs Gate came out I have been VERY tempted, but I have so many ideas and a whole ass spacecore island to finish so... meh A little rule I like to follow when decorating (to make things easier) is that I choose a perspective/angle to look at it from. If I have a nice angle, I try to look at it from this angle only, and then build with a general rule of 3 - 3 nice items grouped together going from taller in the back, to smallest in the front. Usually works out just fine :) In any case, have fun building! 🖤✨

@@bloodybebs I already have a small castle on my current island build; saw the set and just knew I had to have it! And with a 14 mill. bells in my bank, I'm sure I can cover any expenses. Anyway, as I want to finish and save my current island, it will probably be spring before I can relize my fantasy core idea. You've blown my mind with that advice! It just occured to me that I've been subconciously building my island as if I were making a game level. That's why I always feel it's not right - I'm dedsigning it like I'm a game dev, not like it's a real lived in place. And it doesn't help, that I'm usually playing from the top down perspective, so I literally never see it as my villagers do! 😐 I can't thank you enough for the advice, this is a complete game changer❣🥰

Uuuhhhh nice! Spooky castles are so fun but I think I wouldn't be able to build one on my island. It's just so expensive 💀💀

i downloaded the black stone path youre using but i dont see a horizontal path piece, is it missing or am i blind?

I just checked the codes again and you’re absolutely right. There is no horizontal path. I think that’s why I only downloaded the „main“ path options and no extras :) I hope the path still works for you tho 🌚
