Reminds me of the old F1 glory days when the engines were so temperamental because they were pushing the boundaries of what the engine could do 👍😎.

That was part of Gordon Murrays design brief. It needed to have the sound and feel of an 80s F1 car

Kind of wanted to see a guy in a white overall suddenly appear with an air starter. 😁
Amazed at how small it is compared to that M2 that rolled up alongside 👍

The M2 has become a bit inflated hasn't it!
My neighbors if I had one: Wonder what he's doing? Me after 20mins: Just going to the store real quick.
"Thats OK mate - we'll use the Clio"
I can't wait until the final product
A starting system so advanced that it takes a team of engineers and laptops to make it happen. 😂

Right now it's the first prototype so there's a lot of tuning and testing to do. Eventually Gordon wants owners to just check the oil, fuel and tire pressure and get going on the track. It has no cats or emissions to meet, so it can be straight piped.

They only had to clean the spark plugs instead of holding a laptop ;-)😅
I'm amazed at all the people hating in the comments. This is an experimental prototype. GMA is the only company that shows details of the product development at this level. How problematic was the development of the Valkyrie, or even the press release cars of the AMG One? This car will be fully sorted before any press or customers drive one.
Oh yes mate, starts on the button first time! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So strange to not find the problem, and then to never open up the engine compartment once to look at anything. They were so sure it was software related. Interesting.
All other cars parked on the other side, to give less chance of car alarms going off when the T50s starts.
Probably the hyper-drive next to the foo foo valve, Goes on mine all the time.

I'm sure Halfords keep them on the shelf 👍
Needed a starter handle.
British sports car with the reliability of one😂
It was Mr Scott cross-circuiting to 'B' that did it ..
Alot of pickled fuels at Goodwood, may have poisoned the O2 sensor.

I'm curious, could you explain what pickled fuel is exactly? I know what pickling an engine means but I've never heard of pickled fuels
What happens if you stall it at the lights?

@@Hamisxa Gordan Murray, creating new problems where he could have hung his hat on the greatest car of all time, but didn't. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
It won't get knicked off the drive then
It's out of warranty
Put double SU on it😂

@@Final_Drive They have processing power so high nowadays, ecus can literally tune themselves and constantly adjust all parameters MANY times per second. But most people are stuck decades in the past so they keep doing things the same way. I know an electrical engineer who made prototypes of these ecus, and its literally nothing special, but most computers are still very reliant on old school methods of trial and error and programmer intervention.
Well that’s not a good look
