I went to buy this the evening before you did! Weirdly the guy selling it was extremely inflexible on price and wouldn't drop below close to double what you paid! The cracked gearbox and electrical issues were enough for me to walk away, though I would have taken it at the price you paid! Look forward to seeing how it turns out!

How strange! I didn't know him but did let him know it was me who built it when I was there. I've not looked in to the electrical issues yet but those immobilisers can be a pain 😂

@@halmiller the tyres are 33 x 12.5 but I'll have to do some digging to remind myself what the offset of the wheels are. It's too much of a offset really as they don't tuck under the arches under full articulation so I had to modify the body quite a bit to stop them catching everything. It's a 4 inch lift being a combination of 2" springs and 2" blocks. That also has issues with front prop clearance / trailing arm and steering caster angle and needing to crank the rear watts linkage. Nightmare 😂

I'm amazed at all the people hating in the comments. This is an experimental prototype. GMA is the only company that shows details of the product development at this level. How problematic was the development of the Valkyrie, or even the press release cars of the AMG One? This car will be fully sorted before any press or customers drive one.

I’ve a lovely cayman 981 went out for a run on the way back warning light displayed your engine is over full with oil but you can still drive it pain in the butt again electronics systems useless worry makers

@@Final_Drive They have processing power so high nowadays, ecus can literally tune themselves and constantly adjust all parameters MANY times per second. But most people are stuck decades in the past so they keep doing things the same way. I know an electrical engineer who made prototypes of these ecus, and its literally nothing special, but most computers are still very reliant on old school methods of trial and error and programmer intervention.

Right now it's the first prototype so there's a lot of tuning and testing to do. Eventually Gordon wants owners to just check the oil, fuel and tire pressure and get going on the track. It has no cats or emissions to meet, so it can be straight piped.
