Will I get the right stamps to get out of The GAMBIA?! |S7E35|

In this episode, I am trying to leave The Gambia and cross back into Senegal. The immigration post forgot to bring their stamp though because they were running a bit late that morning..

If there ever was a perfect example of a "Forgot my homework"-face, it was presented by that kind officer at that very interesting stampless border stop! 😊 In Africa even the border crossing episodes are entertaining! Alaska just rolled her eyes when she saw the small boat but she had a pretty easy ride. Noraly just needed some sea legs to stand for the trip. Once again, I am amazed at the border crossing process and how you make it look so simple even though the temps were ticking up with every stop, but always a smile to every one she meets in the process. Love how kids in every country of the world greet you with such excitement! Great video, Noraly

It's so nice to see how kind and generous everyone appears to be during your journey. Especially the border guards and officials. The news media here in the US tends to paint a dangerous portrait of west Africa and doesn't do justice to the people there that are just living their lives. I'm glad your reporting from the road works to mitigate those things. And as always -- what a fine adventure you're sharing. Thank you!

In 1997 I was in Zimbabwe on a motorcycle trip. There were about a dozen bikes, one place we stayed we had to hire a guard to sit by the bikes all night to scare off the monkeys, they not only liked the mirrors but would try to pull on anything they could, cables and plug wires were typical targets. In other places we left the bikes out in the open, nowhere near any building, keys in the ignition, the monkeys that resided in that area were not interested.

Senegal People deserve a lot more than what their Government give them. Thank you Noraly for such informative videos. The scenery from your apartment straight onto the beach and boats was a fantastic surprise. ❤ Many Thanks and Blessings. 🙏

I love the continual views of how folk are living today in these parts of the world. Take away some iron and rubber in the vehicles (and engined- vehicles) and it seems like it's a way of life that goes back centuries. Thanks!

Early morning for me on the west coast of Canada so good morning to all! Thanks Noraly for another great video from west Africa. You are getting lots of experience with crossings - border and river!! You never know for sure how they're going to go but your experience shows in the way you handle each crossing.

That official at the border was funny, obviously his boss had given him a dressing down for forgetting the vital stamp causing extra work for his boss, who actually turned out to be quite pleasant and not officious at all, all pretty laid back in the end, hey what the hell we all have lapses in our memories, nice he didn’t make up some lie and was totally honest about it all. Noraly’s laid back attitude I am sure helped a lot to save the day.😊😊😊😊😊

Hey Itchy Boots! We had breakfast with you this morning! Looks like Alaska had the best seat in the boat for sure! It was pretty sketchy for those other bikes! Looks like you packed your patience as usual for the border crossing! Good that you have all that experience behind you! Looking forward to all those “WELCOME TO…” in the future! Just love to see the joy and excitement in your face when that happens! Cheers to you from Texas!❤❤

Noraly, thank you for being here virtually. I've been battling anxiety and depression for a while now, but you showing so many beautiful things, the kindness that still exists in this world, how simple life can actually be, reminds me goals can be achieved and to not abandon. Thanks for the tears of joy, the laughs and the inspiration to keep going. Be safe out there and see you in the next one!

Hey there, I don't know how far you'll get before the rainy season, but when I was in your location and the rains started, I went as far east as Liberia and then went north to Bamako and then Niamey where it was a LOT dryer. Tied to get to Timbuktu but that Niger River was too swollen to cross. Then I headed south again to Ivory Coast, Ghana Burkina Faso and further east without drowning in the rain. As you probably know already, the rain there will be INTENSE! Its like a wall of water, 4-5 meters viability some times. I'm really enjoying your travels! I've been following you since India... Please be safe and, as they say, "keep the shiny side up."

Noraly....some of the most enjoyable parts of your video's are food....and entry/exit points/accommodations. I love the riding, but seeing where and what you eat, whether good or awful is a real treasure. I wear my Itchy Boots cap with great pride. I get asked about it all the time. Stay safe...enjoy life.
