This dock is just an elaborate photo-op. If it can get up to 150 trucks per day, that is less than a third of what is needed. Before Israel invaded Gaza and started its genocide there were 500 trucks per day going in. Genocide Joe could just order Israel to open the 5 or so land crossings that it has closed. A UN report at the end of March said that the number of people in famine condition would rise from 600,000 to over a million by July. The rest are not much better off. Once again DW refuses to acknowledge reality. It says that the land crossings "are not operational" rather than that Israel has closed those crossings. Who writes their scripts? The Israelis?

Considering Israel's expansionist ambitions (and proven record) those in the north are right to be concerned about leaving that part of the territory uninhabited.

It is not restricting, it is checking them and then letting them go. Nobody is capable of distributing it in a war zone outside of the dedicated safe zones. That’s the real problem. Plenty of aid is coming in Rafah and Deir El Balah.

@@Peaceonearth2024 that was the fact until Hamas shot down the Kerem Shalom crossing where 90% of the aid was coming though, and since Israel began the operation on Rafah last week. Now no aid is coming in since then, except for the floating peer. My friends and family are literally on the ground. I have a small idea of the facts of the ground.
