Will COVID Come Back With Deadly Outcome?

Ойын-сауық

COVID Becoming Endemic?
COVID cases in the US are falling. Some experts worry that we will get another wave soon as this is nothing but another two months cycle. Let's review the data and the state of our community to see how the future waves may look like. Terms related to vaccines are changing, let's review these too. And, there are travel restrictions being lifted. Let's check them.

Hi David Cunningham, what not yet another remarkable property of this virus, not only can it tell the time so that it does not infect people before ten PM, it is allergic to that particular shade of acid green that Asda is so fond of so no-one ever catches it in the shop, it also can measure accurately and can tell the difference between two feet and two metres, there is a huge list of things like this that this virus is capable of, the only thing it really lacks is much in the way of fatalities without a lot of help from its victims. Cheers Richard.

Whereas car accidents, suicide diabetes and cancer is much higher than the 100 Covid deaths in children!!! are they addressing the other death problems? No! Vaccination is not going to solve the problem but make it worse as we are already seeing the outcomes from vaccination in adults and young adults!!! It’s just absolutely insane!

Is the CDC still recommending different ct for vaccinated vs. unvaccinated “cases”, that is positive PCR which may or may not constitute clinical illness? I think it is apparent that CDC due to financial influencers, conflicts of interest etc. does not want to study previously infected and unvaccinated folks to determine if their immunity is better than those who have been vaccinated. This is clear lack of true scientific integrity and is something about which we should all be concerned.

We do have therapeutics for covid, that work and Pfizer and Merck have also brought out new drugs that can be prescribed on an outpatient basis. Covid has a better than 99 per cent survival rate. This being the case, surely it would be better if it was simply allowed to run its course and to treat patients immediately for best possible outcome. Allow the world economy to get back to normal.

I am fed up with all this fear of dying. The people dying from Covid are mostly already very old and sick. Maybe it is time that we, as a society, started accepting that 75 or 80 years is a good age to die. That used to be the case when I was young. Nobody complained. All grandparents were gone around that age and many never even made it to 70. We cannot all live to be 100. That is not the minimum guaranteed age we are entitled to. Our life expectancy has risen, yes, we live longer than our grandparents. But they are not good years. They are sick years. We do not LIVE longer. It just takes us longer to die.

  • @homeshows

Covid doesn't only cause death of elderly in fact over a quarter of the deaths are in people under 65 years old. Covid also causes hospitalization and those who have been hospitalized over 50% are under age 54. Long Covid effects almost 20% of those 18-49. The loss of productivity in working age people who are sick, suffering from long term Covid effects, who end up carrying for family members or who need to quarantine effects the economy. Businesses suffer because of sick workers and the high cost of medical care and hospitalizations hits tax payers. Pregnant women and their babies are at particularly high risk of dying and/or requiring hospitalization. You may be sick about hearing about deaths and not care much about high numbers of elderly deaths but Covid affects are much more than deaths and in all areas of life from production, supply chains, tax dollars, prices for goods and services, travel, economic recoveries, etc.......Covid is playing a very negative part. It benefits us all if and when the pandemic is effectively managed. It benefits us all if we use any and all tools to reduce the spread.

The vaccine rate in Ireland (90%) and UK (80%) has done nothing to stop the hospitalisation and death numbers being overwhelmingly comprised of fully vaccinated individuals. By my numbers, between 72-83% of covid deaths in Ireland are fully vaccinated in a rolling monthly total recently. The number in Scotland is similar. Although this shows that vaccines lower the fatality rate slightly, on paper, it suggests they are not inhibiting a massive spread of covid among the vaccinated. Therefore the vaccinated may be marginally less likely to die upon infection, but much more likely to catch covid compared to their vaccine-unmoderated behaviour (without even considering what the vaccines do to the immune system). Furthermore, and most worrying, the Case Fatality Rate appears to be increasing in the last few months, among both the vaccinated and unvaccinated in UK and Ireland. In Ireland I eyeballed and seem to be seeing the CFR climbing from

Infection count is difficult to estimate, but it's a critical number you must know (or reliably estimate) before any policy decision. Case count without context is exactly meaningless. @@djnv4702 @Veg Ahimsa Considering that research seems to show the viral load in vaccinated asymptomatic infected is high - sometimes extremely high and much higher than symptomatic cases of the alpha strains - I get the impression that we should be estimating the real infected number to be much higher than the case count. A large unmeasured asymptomatic spread might explain the proportion of vaccinated people ending up in hospital with covid, if we accept that vaccination provides any barrier at all to contracting the virus. So is it your opinion that uncounted infected are driving up the CFR? Because I'm very concerned by both possibilities - either a new bigger asymptomatic spread vector driven by the vaccines or deadlier strains being driven by the vaccines - and both could be happening at once.

I ask you: what is the relationship between the current UK case count and infection count today? What was it exactly one year ago? If you don't know the answer (if you have no estimate at all), then case count is meaningless to you. Furthermore, what is the context? Is the average infection today more or less dangerous than a year ago? Consider that many of the most vulnerable are dead, else vaccinated, else naturally immune, else both. Now, why should a case be of concern? At what number (or rate) should you be concerned and at what number should you not be concerned? And why! I don't believe you, nor most can answer any of these questions. Hint: you are meant to be afraid and compliant, not understand. The CDCs refusal to do research on previously infected people, I believe is due to their unwillingness to explore any other means of protection than vaccination and then villainizing unvaccinated (and I’m a person who thinks nearly everyone should get vaccinated, but I’m also not afraid of data and think it’s unscientific to be) Secondly, so much of what you say, and I LOVE your math. It makes my nerd heart happy. Is contingent on 2 things, 1. How much protection is afforded by vaccines + previous infection. That’s hard because it’s a varying, fluid rate. It would be near impossible to figure out. Secondly, the degree to which future variants would be vaccine/previous infection resistant. And so much ofTHAT hinges on how much infection is brewing in the rest of the world, which I have NO idea.

TOTALLY agree on the "previously infected" area should be monitored. Keep in mind, also, that they do not count people as "fully vaccinated" until 5.. 5 .. weeks from the first shot. That is 3 weeks to get the second shot and then 2 more afterward. They need to start keeping track of these, also. I believe that they stopped May 1st of this year because of the number of "breakthrough" cases. Vaccine injuries?

The Stanford Study was done fairly early after the so called “Pandemic” arrived in the USA from China. By now, there must be a lot more than only 5% of the total population that have had asymptomatic infections. What I found significant about that study’s results was the large number of people who were asymptomatic compared to the small number of people who had actually tested positive in Santa Clara County. It would have been important for the NIH or CDC to continue to conduct more of these types of studies if they were actually & sincerely interested in more accurately determining the lethality of this virus, the number of people who could be counted towards establishing herd immunity & the relative risks facing different demographic groups. It seems that NIH was willing to fund “Gain of Function Research” at the Wuhan Lab but was unwilling to fund studies that would have helped Public Health Agencies, Physicians & the public to better understand what they were dealing with.Of course, to do so might have undermined Big Pharma & its compromised puppets “fear porn” & “medical martial law” agendas.

You are also not accounting for the numbers who got covid, recovered and then got vaccinated because they didn't even realize they had covid Also, the numbers getting covid most be far greater than just 5%? Look at how many cases vs the number who actually are admitted to hospital, all those cases who them didn't end up in hospital must have recovered (bar a tiny number who died at home). This tells me the number of recovered with natural immunity must be quite large

At this point it doesn't bother us anymore but this is not necessarily a one and done bug. In fact, with most people, because the vaccines are driving weird variants, you probably need to catch it a few times to develop a durable IgA immune response and stop catching it if you're susceptible to start with.

Hi DrBeen, much as I value your channel for the honesty and integrity that you so clearly demonstrate I must try to draw your attention to some significant issues. Firstly and perhaps the most important the testing that is being used so widely does not identify infected people!, it only identifies exposure and even then as fewer and fewer people are actually infected the percentage of false positives goes up and up!. The next point is that for statistical analysis purposes the selection of candidates for testing must be randomised to give any useful indication of what is happening to the whole population, if this condition is not met there are no useful results!. There also has to be a similar 'control' group of individuals that have had zero exposure and that cannot be done now!. There are then a number of untested and unverified assumptions being made, one of which is the contention that a vaccination programme during an epidemic will have a direct effect on the spread, given that all of the people at highest risk of severe illness if infected are like that because for whatever reason their immune systems are not adequate, these people cannot benefit from vaccination in the first place. One should also bear in mind that systemic immunity does not prevent re-infection!, when it works at all it rapidly suppress the new infection before any real illness is presented and infectiousness is unlikely. The next point relates to the 'reproduction rate' this is a number derived from counting the number of infected people at any one time and re-counting the same population at a later date and enumerating the change, this completely overlooks the actual reality in which at least sixty percent of infected people never pass it on to anyone!, the remaining forty percent do not share it equally either, as always with infectious disease it does not conform to averages!, the very small number of hidden super-spreaders can keep this sort of virus in circulation as an endemic for decades!, there will aways be enough highly susceptible 'victims' to keep it going and continue to spread it! Cheers, Richard.

@@bokoler9107 Hi Bo Koler, thank you, so nice to be able to engage in sensible dialogue!. The original concept that was introduced to support the testing programme was based on the flawed concept that in some arcane manner simply being able to identify infected people would somehow control the spread!, since this could only work in conjunction with the effective contact tracing and safe isolation of those concerned without which testing was and is utterly pointless the whole subject of the effectiveness of the tests is quite academic!. There are effective ways of establishing whether a person has a viral infection, they do not require precise identification of the pathogen since all effective treatments are connected solely with mitigating the symptoms of the infection, almost all of which a the patient's systemic reactions and are common to many different infections, also in common with many others is the transmission routes and patterns, the idea that you have to 'know' your enemy before you can fight it is doubly flawed, firstly it is just not true and secondly 'fighting' infections is completely the wrong idea!, effective treatment of the symptoms is all we can ever do with viral infections once they are in the population!. Cheers, Richard.

@Richard Harvey...exactly, and therfore the functional drugs for a specific pathogen group should be easily available and administered correlated to the infection phase. Given to late or not as seen in C-19 ends fatal. Beside of new developments you see success with old ones, Colchicine, Ivmc, Fluvoxamine, NaC, Dexamethasone and as you said not going into an academic theorizing, using what helps. There are enough drugs available to prevent unnecessary fatal outcomes, and supported by these you gain a robust natural immunity in the populations. I mean the vaccines have their place, but using the body as an antibody factory every several months is like with flu vaccination not optimal for all age groups. Therefore you could also take every three month a Regeneron infusion as a prophylactic measurement. And beside of this the ongoing emotional manipulations just 🤮. Good posts Richard 👌🏿

@@bokoler9107 Hill bo Koler, thank you again, I do like these threads that appear on these channels, ones like this in particular, for me the effort required to order my thoughts well enough to write them out in a reasonably coherent and consistent manner goes a long way to settle my emotions and clear my mind, not that I can ever expect to know all the answers but the development of a logical narrative is satisfactory. I am always conscious of the fact that what seems to make sense to me might not make sense to others so when someone like you can understand me it is quite reassuring!. Early last year when I was investigating viral infections for the first time I was soon struck by the observation that while infectious viruses are themselves very difficult to get at the symptoms of reaction the infected people have to endure can be dealt with in all sorts of interesting ways, the take away concepts being ones that recognise the range and diversity of immune responses and reactions so that appropriate treatments can be offered in appropriate ways at appropriate times, the fact that this demands the careful attention of highly trained clinicians just goes to show that dealing with epidemics like this is not best left to commercial private interests and feckless politicians!. Cheers, Richard.
