I want Kante to win it as he is such an amazing and integral player to all teams he is in, but I will not complain if Lewandowski wins. The man was robbed of a ballon dor last year when he won the treble, and then preceded to win the league and score 40+ goals this year. He has been the best forward in the world for two years in a row so he deserves it. That being said, if Kante has a quality Euro, he should rightfully finish first.

His role? U either havent watched football matches or at least not a chelsea fan. Kante has always played and always excelled as double pivot since the earliest days of his career, whether its a 3 men or 2 men midfielder system. Jorginho was more familiar with the holding midfielder role and he is better at keeping the ball, build up, better vision as the holding mid role is very crucial in controllng the tempo of the team. While kante is uncontestedly the best at retrieving the ball, he gave away the ball very often as well. So if youre saying the role of kante is a holding midfielder then u are very very wrong, he always play better as a double pivot

@@DMBK-jn5rz Agreed. However, Balón d’ Oro is an individual award. If Kanté performs exceptionally in the Euros for France, then he should be the Balón d’ Oro winner no doubt about it. But then again, Balón d’ Oro is a popularity contest. It’s the reason Messi and Ronaldo have won it that much. Some of those seasons other players deserved it no questions asked.
