This puts modern music to shame!

2 things 1) I am so glad my parents raised me with a deep appreciation for all genres of music. 2) I love to see so many different generations enjoying the same kinds of music. To see little kids to seniors all so engulfed in this type of misic.

You too, Darren...my Dad, a Navy vet who grew up with sawdust--and-beer saloons in the Midwest, got us three kids acquainted with classical music. He had us marching around the living room to things like Mario Lanza arias and the Nutcracker Suite and Scheherazade. He would have been 100 years old last November. I am sure he would have loved Andre Rieu's showmanship.

I've known many who've had no interest whatsoever in classical music. Until, that is, they experienced Andre Rieu's performances. They became lifelong converts since.

My dad once joked that an intellectual is a person who doesn't think about the Lone Ranger when he/she hears this!!

❤❤❤Love and cherish each other because tomorrow may be too late. Appreciate every second! Sometimes you can miss that moment all your life... "If it dawns, you are a happy person because you can still enjoy life and being with dear people."

Something most people these days don't realise is that this is only the last 2/3rds (or so) of the full overture. It's possibly understandable since this part is far more exciting than how it begins.

That always makes me want to saddle up and ride with the Ranger!

How could you be? His music is so diverse and engaging. The orchestra inall their grandeur. Its as much a visual expierence as it is an audio and emotional experience.

Andre doesn’t perform music but celebrates it!

With this song I'm about 10 years old in my local movie theatre that my school class walked to listen. Boring at first then the first note rang out of the trumpet of the good part and a theatre full of 10,11 year kids yelled out "hot dog".

Bravo!
