I’ll take the new 44 outerlimits (8:30). It has the mercury racing 860s....there’s nothing like the sound of a big block V8. But honestly they’re all bad ass.. signs of a good economy. Let’s hope it stays that way.

mike force pretty sure it’s self explanatory but just to break it down for you. That little yellow emoji with hearts for eyes would indicate that I love the color.

amazing amount of wake for boats that are going barely above idle speed. THe little electric boat had a small wake and was going faster than everyone else

The pontoon looks like an extra escape pontoon on top if the bottom one sinks. Lol I know the Cats are cheaper and are everywhere now but they are lacking any place to lay out to get sun and any place to escape the sun. We had a couple join us on our island run and they are fast but once we stopped for rest an relaxation and to sleep they were on ours because even the cuddy cabins on the cigarette style boats or actual bedrooms on the center consoles offer so much more.

Electric boat is interesting!

Can anyone explain why the go fast boats are so long? Is it for stability at high speeds?

Here I am trying to decide on a 150 or a 200 on my center console.

That Cigarette is just about the handsomest center console I've ever seen. I'll take mine in white with red upholstery and six 627's for 3700HP hanging off the back, or five for 3000HP if the Sevens are too wide or too heavy. Come to think of it five might even be best with 300 more HP than the six Mercs, and one fewer lower unit making less nasty drag while saving weight for maybe a hundred gallons more fuel, that might even add half an hour running time with a smooth hand on the throttle. Whichever motor count I'd want them with the one inch increment option so all the cowls are the same height. Details matter and that looks so much cleaner. Come to think of it Santa, how about the same hull but as a walkaround cuddy express with just sun lounge and mooring station forward, double the rear cockpit, and double the cabin for nicely spacious liveaboard. Just dreaming!

I wonder who the boat cops were trying to chase? Have they *seen* some of the engine set-ups on these things? Lol.

Love to know what the MPG at 160mph is!
