Its great to see our English neighbours enjoying and appreciating the beautiful landscape in the West of Ireland. I'm glad to hear that everyone is welcoming and friendly. Its quite normal here for complete strangers to strike up conversation. Love the video and commentary.

Hello Father John, It is good to speak again, even if it is only through the KZread comments. You will have to thank St Anthony for us, straight after meeting you our GoPro batteries showed their heads. The weather has been glorious, summer days in winter! We love the WAW, beautiful landscapes, beautiful people and the rugged wild Atlantic by our side, what more could we ask for. My wife & I were in Clifden and the Connemara in September 2021. Thank you for exploring all the coastal spaces that we didn't make it to due to not having a car. Love that place. Keep exploring guys! Enjoy your travels!

Glad you went by Doo Lough, lovely area around Westport. Sheeffrey pass off that road is a nice scenic drive too. Great adventure you're having. They say Ireland is like a saucer in that most of the mountain ranges rise around the coast, and it is much flatter in the middle. Coastal mountains is an epic mix. Enjoy thd rest if your Ireland trip

There are so many places to discover! I think we will have to come back one day and visit some of the spots we missed. I'm glad we could show you some new ones

We travel these roads every august for two weeks. We start in Enniscrone in Sligo then on to achill and we work our way down to letterfrack/clifden area. Some if the hidden beaches are stunning. Very clean and safe. Brilliant video. Such a great way to clear the head and recharge the batteries.

What a fantastic stretch, I can see why you keep coming back to it. The beaches in Connemara are incredible, and there is one around every little corner. I have never seen the sea so clear, it was like bottled water so beautiful

Its amazing how few English people have ever been to Ireland. Thanks for showing such a beautiful country.

Every corner we round we are blown away by the landscape. That road to Leenaun is really special. The weather has been great, even the rainy days, have sunny spells and we have been making the most of them. The misty mountains are a shame but we can't complain really, just happy we have had any sun at all.

We were really worried about taking on the wild Atlantic way in winter before we came but it was the best decision we made. Most days have rain and sun, so it's all about making the most of them brief windows. Thanks so much for watching and a happy new year to you to.

Yeah the weather has been unbelievably good. I do think that in a van you're in a good position to make the most of all and every little window of good weather, but yeah this has been so much better than expected. Thanks for the reasureance about the pronunciation. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't wind me up when people said places names wrong when I'm at home, haha
