In September 2019 we borrowed my mum and dad's car, chucked our camping gear in the back, and set off for a month of exploring the Scottish Highlands & Islands. We didn't have much of a plan, other than to visit some places we'd never been before and spend as much time outdoors as possible, camping or bothying every night.
Our route was loosely based on the North Coast 500, with plenty of side trips and detours along the way. We started on the west coast around Arisaig and the Isle of Rum, then headed east to the Orkney Isles, along the very north coast to Cape Wrath, then back down the west all the way to Skye.
We've covered a lot of the places featured in this video in our accompanying travel guides (linked at the top of this). These include detailed route maps, plus map downloads so you can use them offline.

Wow. It's amazing & inspirational. Marvelous scenery, very good filming, nice bgm(background music) . This film makes me pack my bag & leave for Scotland.

I like how you did the video, it has a very relaxed feel to it. Captured some beautiful scapes, of course, Skye looks other worldly! Thank you for sharing.
