GARLIC MUSTARD (Edible) AKA Jack by the HedGE. Extremely common and edible, though sometimes very bitter - it can be a love it or hate it plant! Try the young leaves and flowers for a milder taste.
HEMLOCK WATER DROPWORT (Deadly Poisonous)

WOOD SORREL (Edible)
Common, easy to identify and extremely tasty with a naturally sharp, lemony flavour.

Pink, red & white clovers have tasty edible flowers - sweetest when the sun is shining.
LESSER CELANDINE (Edible)
Common early Spring yellow flowering plant with tiny edible root tubers.
ROSEBAY WILLOWHERB (Edible)
AKA Fireweed. Edible pith and flowers. ‘Ivan Chai’ is a decaf tea made from Rosebay Willowherb leaves and was THE tea drink in Britain - (Russia’s 2nd largest export for centuries apparently), until the British East India Tea Company monopolised the market with the drink we know and love today! It’s said to be a good medicinal tea, but also it tastes very similar to normal tea too.
So, grab your basket (or just your grocery list for now!), and get ready to explore the delicious possibilities of foraging with Happy Hungry Hibby! Let's get wild!
