Wild Coyote Catch, Clean, Cook in the Forest | ASMR (no talking)

Ойын-сауық

Please read below and hit cc for captions to get more information about hunting and eating wild coyote! We catch, clean and cook a wild coyote! My Gear (Shop and Support): www.thewoodedbeardsman.com/
MORE NO TALKING VIDEOS HERE: • Caveman In The Woods |...
Coyote is open year round where I live. These are wild animals that decimate deer, rabbit, and turkey populations. They are exceedingly overabundant and their numbers need to be managed properly in order to give other wildlife a chance to live. There is no season on them, you can shoot as many as you like, whenever you like. There is no risk, at all, of running out of coyote, in fact, the opposite is actually the case. We have too many.
Eating has no morality, and what we eat is a reflection of our culture, not what is "right, or wrong." Finally, you shoot it, you eat it, simple as that!
I will show you how to cook the dog meat so it tastes good. Most people turn their noses up at certain foods due to cultural reasons, but eating does not have morality. All animals, people included, kill to survive.
We begin in search of a whitetail deer during the week long controlled deer gun hunt, but that turns out to be an exercise in frustration. What turns out into a predator hunt for coyote and eating dog meat. I will prepare the coyote meat in two different ways, first as a basic steak and second, in a stir fry with rice and broccoli topped with soy sauce.
To make coyote meat taste great, use the back straps and avoid the meat surrounding the scent glands found in the legs. Brine the meat in seasoning salt and water. Change the water out a few times and keep in the fridge in non-reactive container or plastic bag. Add your favorite dry rub, I prefer my own spice, Woodobo.

It’s not “ASMR”, it’s just got no talking. ASMR is a nervous system response to specific sound triggers, even talking can be an ASMR trigger. You literally can’t make ASMR videos because the triggers are individually unique. “ASMR” describes the reaction, NOT the trigger... it’s like saying youre going to make allergy cookies, allergy corresponds to the reaction, not the food, and you can’t give someone an allergic reaction if they don’t have an allergy. You can’t give an ASMR response by not talking, a person has to have a specific auditory susceptibility to a specific sound wave or texture and you have to provide that sound wave/texture for an extended period of time in your video. The sound of you not talking is not a sound wave, people may prefer it, but it’s not an ASMR trigger, even the same sound recorded on different microphones or media or played back on different speakers can have completely different affects on people with ASMR susceptibility. Stop trying to be a fad.

So the best thing we can do to move this channel forward is give Chris AKA Woodbeard some feedback on what we want to see. Now me personally, love the survival challenge videos, the trapping videos, the collaboration videos, the maple syrup videos, the forging videos, anything hunting, trapping, and fishing related. I really think it would help the channel if you could do more collaborations with people in the same niche as you. The family videos are also really popular. We love to see your beautiful wife and son. With winter upon us ice fishing, maybe show us how to build a quinzee and survive off fish caught from the lake. Show us how to skin and preserve furs I would love to learn how to do that. Just keep putting in the hard work that you are already doing and I truly believe it'll pay off majorly.

Okay. I am not vegan, but I’m having some serious trouble with the speciesism of this comment section. People are saying that this is too far because coyotes are similar to dogs and we shouldn’t eat dogs, but we SHOULD eat cows and pigs? If you’re okay with eating animals that are equally if not more intelligent than coyotes, than how can you criticize someone for eating a coyote? Where is this arbitrary moral line drawn? It’s completely illogical. Personally, I don’t care what animals you eat; if it’s acceptable to eat an animal as highly intelligent as a pig, then I believe it’s acceptable to eat anything else.

Now for a visit with a true outdoorsman! Good video - I never considered coyote as food, but when food is scarce, and there's lots of them around, why not. Curious - was that a possum at 3:39? I didn't think they lived this far north. Thanks for keeping it real! Take care, stay safe. Maureen

@@beansandbandaids8667 I agree, why make excuses when its clear there is no good reason to be doing this? there is no justifiable reason to be killing a sentient animal for food when you can survive off of plants which lack a central nervous system, and with it, the capacity to suffer and want to live. This isn't the 1400s.. there is no necessity. If I asked you "would you eat a human?" I am fairly certain that anyone who isn't a pyschopath would answer either "no" or "it depends on if I needed to in order to survive". I haven't eaten an animal in 3-4 years and the only affect it has had on me is lower my triglycerides, LDL levels and A1C score.. (in short, it made me much healthier)... you don't need to eat animals. The only reason you would eat an animal is because you prefer the taste. Which is just another way of saying you killed the animal for pleasure. There is one other reason actually.. some people like to hunt animals because they think it makes them "manly".. which is ironic considering that the animal is generally at least a hundred meters away and is rarely armed with a rifle.
