I feel for you, I took my aunty for a picnic in the woods the other day and we were eaten alive through our clothes, poxy bloody gnats! Apparently Avon, skin so soft, original and jojoba dry oil spray is really good as a repellant, I am planning to order some next time my mate gets an avon book through her door!

Nice one Ash, well worth waiting for ! Funnily enough I`ve had a delivery today of DD gear, Hammock, Sleeping Bag, Tarp and Underblanket. Almost ready for my first ever wild camp, Mrs thinks I`m mad as we have a very nice Caravan, not quite the same though !! Cheers Pal !

Hi Ash, hope you`re well pal. It was sooo hot in bed last night so I`m going to put my Hammock up in the garden tonight and sleep in that lol. No tarp though as no rain forecast, try and get some time lapse footage done. Probably going to do my first overnighter in the next week

Nice trip out into the woods, Ash. Those mozzies were out to kill everyone that weekend. I thought I had got away with not being bit. Got home, checked for ticks and I was like a dart board. Steak looked good mate! Nice colour to WbC's hoodie. Love it! ATB pal!

Well just watched a video of East Anglian bushcraft. And near the end he chopped down what looked like a healthy pine tree for no apparent reason. The really worrying thing is at the end he said he left no trace and he looked like he believed it!

This video was great right up until you put brown sauce on the bacon roll!! I’m South Cambs and can be in Thetford in about half hour - forty min so will have to give it a try one night.

Nice chilled camp there , steak looked proper tasty . Got some bug repellent called nordic summer , smells like a camp fire , only used it once but didn't get bit . It's a little pricey for how much you get . Anyway atb fella 👍

Great video mate, we’re in Thetford in a weeks time on a hammock camp ourselves. So will try cooking the steaks on the coals… looked well tasty. We will be taking beers though to wash them down !!

Nice location I like how the netting on your hammock has a little frame so it’s not closing in on you. First time I’ve seen a steak cooked directly on coals and it worked! Take care 🇨🇦❤️

One of the things that puts me off summer camping is the bloody mozzies - although I do have a net for the bonce and my jungle hammock has the net inbuilt they still get on my nerves. Half dead cow, no thanks, not for me. I'm not a veggie by any stretch of the imagination, I just eat white meat apart from Bacon.

Hi Ash Where do you recommend car parking overnight near Thetford?

Hi Ash, great channel. I'm currently getting into backpacking and wild camping. In this video i found out we live not too far from each other, I live in Ipswich. A quick question about your Coast to coast trip..... what's giving me more of a headache than any of the equipment etc is how to get to and from the start and end point, given we come from the same area (roughly), how did you logistically make it there and back home?

Hi Lee! Good question! Lol At the time I was living in Cambridge so I hired a car from enterprise and drove to a town called Whitehaven, from there got a 5 minute taxi to st bees to start the walk. However when o finished I met a friend who I went for a camp with and the next day he took me to a train station (can’t remember which one 😅) and got a train directly back to Cambridge. If you take a bus journey from Robin hoods bay to Scarborough I’m sure you can train it from there… either way it’s pretty expensive so take that into account 😄 hope this helps
