Dont miss out on the nearby Ring of Beara/Peninsula and the Healy Pass either, it's absolutely essential, its a ride you'll not forget ;)

You'll be fine, normal road tyres would be best here 99% of the time ;) I just have a habit of riding/filming/photographing the most rural and unused back roads roads possible as I hate traffic lol..
