WILD Addis Ababa City Tour! (Not What We Expected)

Travelers beware! Addis Ababa is NOT what we expected. Ali and I had an 18-hour long layover in Addis Ababa and decided to go on a 6-hour Addis Ababa city tour. The experience was WILD - possibly the most bizarre city we've ever visited! First impressions of Addis Ababa and everything else documented here in this Addis Ababa travel vlog. (Watch Now)

    The culture, history (even though not entirely accurate in this video), and language are extremely beautiful. The only problem is the overpopulation. The country is not big enough to handle 130 million people, and the city itself has almost 6 million. It needs to decrease to about 20-50 million. Hopefully it stabilizes, then decreases because so many problems are because of this country being so densely populated.

    Some mistake i would like to point out, now one becomes "younger" in Ethiopia, everything is 7 years behind, s if you were born in 1997 you would be born 1990 in Ethiopia, and the current date is 2024 in the West it still is 2016 in Ethiopia, meaning your age remains the exact someplace only the time you were born and the current time you are are 7 years behind. So if you are 27 you are 27 also in Ethiopia, only the birth date, the marriage date whatever and any date changes 7 years back so you do not become younger or older

  • @matusala8322

    @matusala8322

    4 ай бұрын

    That’s not correct. If you born in 1994 in Ethiopia you’re millennial and in the west that’s 2001 so you’re GenZ which makes you automatically younger. If you want to feel younger you can move to the west or want to be older just stay in Ethiopia 😄

    Among the various analogies available for the two types of teff/injera, the tour guide selected an ineffective and very ignorant one. Dear tour guide, if you’re watching this, please refrain from using the "n" word or making negative portrayals of the country. As a content creator, you could have also left out this part to prevent unintended offense, considering your comprehension of the historical context of the "n" word especially as white person from the Global North.
