OMG! Since I saw Zelda opening that chest I'm just wishing for a "The Legend of Link" game, in which Zelda has to save Link! D:

I was sold when midna showed up.

Oh my god, you can play as Midna?! Man, I NEED to buy a Wii U now that all these awesome games are finally coming out! This is awesome, I heard about this, but I didn't know it was a Zelda Dynasty Warriors styled game! The graphics look amazing too. I usually couldn't care less about graphics, but wow, they look great.

MIDNA. DONE. I'M DONE. NINTENDO TAKE ALL MY MONEY.

To be honest, i'm more excited for Hyrule Warriors than the main Zelda game! Not saying that it looks bad, but man... THIS LOOKS AWESOME!

I think "open" sounds (ah, ee) usually are tied with female character names, and "closed" (on, an) sounds are tied to male names.

Daring Do Because Link and Midna have to both be able to be on the field at the same time. So Midna needs to be independant of him.

It's amazing I'm getting this excited for a Dynasty Warriors game. Also, I'm loving the background music in the trailer.

MIDNA!!! YES!!! I haven't forgotten you and thank heavens Nintendo hasn't either! I can only pray she starts becoming one of the mainstay characters of the franchise in both forms! Nintendo, a Twilight Realm game would be awesome!

This actually looks better than the ACTUAL Zelda Wii U title they showed us. I mean, don't get me wrong, that new HYRULE FIELD IS AMAZING. But Link and Epona looked terribly Cel-shaded and off model... But it IS the beta stage and I'm sure it will get better! After all, a Zelda game IS A ZELDA game. And it's going to be AMAZING! :D

I don't think off-model is the best way to put it. Link's never really had a model to begin with, he's swapped styles a lot since the 80's. This just happens to be the first new look he's had since 2006, so we're not used to it. I do agree with you, though, we can definitely trust that whatever it is, Nintendo won't let us down when it comes to the final product.

***** That's more the case with every Zelda title since OoT, honestly. Majora's Mask was a horrible failure until Wind Waker came out, when it was an unappreciated gem. Same thing with Wind Waker, same thing with Twilight Princess, etc.

@ronin6401 gotta correct you there. Ocarina of time, majoras mask and twilight princess are part of the child link timeline. Wind waker, phantom hourglass and Spirit tracks are both part of the adult link timeline because adult link ceases to exist. Also your headcanon should of been more like Oot, Mm and Tp because the shade in twilight princess is the hero of time.

Most played game on my Wii U, obviously! Wonderful game! :)

A bunch of enemies standing still and being blown up by fancy attacks, over and over, amazing.

I have never played a Zelda game before but this game looks really good!!!

They teased us with Ganondoff, hopefully he will be playable too :)

I remember that as a kid I used to wonder what game this was. It wasn't Zelda, yet all of its characters where in it. And one day I got the Wii U and with it all of it´s awesome games. I love this game too much

DANG.... I am totally getting this game when it comes out

Link looks normal but with a scarf, Inmpa has her SS look but no dress and a sword, Minda looks normal but her hair is more powerful, and Zelda has her Twilight princess hair but blonde SS dress but more white, and she has a sword the only time we see her with a sword was a cut scence in TP and her Phantom form in Spirit Tracks. Also, I think this takes place after TP

If it did have it's own spot in the timeline, it CANNOT be after Twilight Princess. If you want proof, take a look at what Midna looks like at the end of that game. Also, the twilight realm is sealed. Hyrule doesn't exist before or during Skyward Sword.

Guys there's no need to keep arguin over it :) - The game has its own world and story that are not tied to any others (like the ''The Legend of Zelda'' games are), with characters being taken from across all of the Zelda universe to fill it up, that's it :)

Finally, the dream of my childhood, teenage, and my adulthood until now, Zelda as a playable character. I've never thought to buy a Wii U, but they are persuading me, quite well.

Man, this and the next Zelda are the only two reasons I have EVER considered in getting a Wii U :/

..... Dammit, now I have to buy the Wii U. But if this game turns out to be all action without a good story then I will be greatly disappointed.

So, Ganondorf is in this game somewhere, possibly playable, Zelda can get the hookshot, which isn't really a weapon so I guess some exploration is possible in addition to the hyper hack 'n' slash. Impa has a buster sword, Midna can create a spectral wolf since Link is a bit preoccupied, Zelda gets light arrows. Looks like it oughta be interesting.

This looks so cool. I'll give it a try to play it.

and of course they wont use these graphics for a main game, awesome!!

Dynasty Warriors gameplay + Zelda fan service = happy me. Can't wait for the release!

I haven't been too excited about Hyrule Warriors, but to see Zelda take out that many enemies at one is REALLY satisfying.
